Would've been Churchill '99 had we had stayed in Calgary, but I did all my high school and college education down here in Oregon.

grade 11 sucked because we moved from ontario and i knew no one.
grade 12 rocked because i knew lots of people, played on sports teams, and generally my life got underway.

It sucked. I didn't have the marks to get into University, so I had to retake a few classes in addition to a few that I didn't take in high school.
Incidentally, I thrived at Viscount Bennett. Whether that had anything to do with the setting, me being more motivated, the teachers and a more mature environment, or a combination of factors, I don't no. But I will most certainly drill into my children the importance of not being lazy snots in highschool the first time around.

Winston Churchill in Lethbridge, 1987-90.
Best memory: decapitating a Barbie doll in a homemade guillotine in front of my Social Studies 20 class. Got an A+ for the assignment, but girls pretty much stopped talking to me after that day.
Worst memory: pretty well every other day of high school.

Being in my older brother's class, you would pretty much have to at least know who he is.

Another J.L. Crowe Hawk here, 1996
Whoever thought giving the nickname Hawks to a school called Crowe, should not be in charge of naming things.
