If Georgia wins game, I'll eat my humble pie and admit that college football needs a playoff.

Hell of a game going on in Bozeman right now. UNH scores to pull within 1 with 7 seconds left and Montana State blocks the PAT, gets a personal foul penalty. Now we'll get to see an onsides kick from the 50!
MSU recovers..

When you hold your opponent to 12 total yards in the first half but can only manage a 3 point lead you are destined to lose IMO.

Georgia's defence...WOW...and that replay of Mattieu tossing the ball before crossing the goal line...big missed call.

I haven't seen it anywhere but do the predictions still have a LSU-Alabama championship game if LSU loses this game?
Or have the experts made any predictions on what would happen?

This isn't another pro-playoff post...but if there was one, Georgia would be a scary team in that draw...man they're playing great football...especially if they start pulling in a few passes.

How's this for a scenario: LSU loses, Virginia Tech Loses, and OSU Loses. Who do you go with then?
1)LSU - Didn't win their own conference
2)Bama - Didn't win their own conference
3)OSU - Didn't win their own conference
4)Stanford - Didn't win their own conference
5)Virginia Tech - Didn't win their own conference
6)Houston - Didn't win their own conference
7)Boise - Didn't win their own conference
8)Arkansas - Didn't win their own conference
9)Oregon - Won PAC-12
10)Oklahoma - Won Big 12
11) Kansas State - Didn't win their own conference
12) South Carolina - Didn't win their own conference
13) MSU - Could win Big 10
14) Georgia - Won SEC
15) Wisconsin - Could win Big 12

Looks like that hypothetical won't happen now ... Georgia blew this game early.

What's really lame is vt and osu could both win and lsu, Alabama would still likely get in with an lsu loss. Could be looking at 2 one loss sec teams that didn't win their conference in the nc, with 2 one loss conference champions out.

Great second half by LSU today. I don't think they were focused on the task at hand early on.
I'm hoping there's some way someone else sneaks in to the championship game tonight, just to have a different matchup. Honestly, as long as the Tigers are in New Orleans, I'm feeling confident. That place will be a madhouse.

I think LSU should be #1 even if they lose to Alabama in the final.

I can't figure out why they brought the block there. No point. MSU wins easily if they don't. Oh well, both MSU and Wisco won a game against each other on a miraculous heave late in the game. If I had to lose to any Big Ten team I'd pick the Badgers, a few friends who are alums and they're all cool fans who appreciate good football more than trash talk. I hope they can take Oregon but it'll be a tough task.
