Queen Elizabeth Sr High school...
Hello!
Are there any members here who graduated from, or are currently attending, QE high school?
I ask because I wanted to know if the following teachers are still teaching there and how are they doing! I haven't met them even once after graduation in 2004!
Mr. Ward, Mr. Pengelley, Mr. Pike, Mr. Mastersson, and Mrs. Darlington
Oops, forgot to add: Mr. Condie

I graduated from Queen E in 2003 but I can tell you that Mr. Ward and Mr. Masterson have retired.

Anyone remember Mr. Bombier? Mr. Albrecht was awesome too, although he passed away in 2005 I think it was.

Mr. Albrecht was the BEST English teacher ever. He was so unique. Grade 10.

Good old Taco. That guy had a big impact on a lot of students I think. Funniest man in the school.

I graduated in 2008. Don't recognize Ward or Darlington, but Pengelly, Pike, Masterson, and Condie were all good (Condie was just 3 or 4 different types of insane mixed into a math teacher). I miss Pengelly halting classes so he could show us hockey games or do other "just not care" activities.
Of those, Ward has retired, Pengelly has been assigned to Sir Winston Churchill, Masterson has retired, and Pike has been assigned as a VP of another school.
And Meyers...I swear he had no degree at all and was just asked to cover whatever the hell needed a substitute. Good guy, but couldn't teach his way out of a paper bag.
Anyone else remember Mr. Semchuk (computers)/Ms. O (science) (EDIT - I was just reminded she changed her name to Laudinsky at some point)? I forget the details of their affair and subsequent EVERYTHING, but it was stuff of legend for us students...

LOL. Never had Semchuck but I he was definitely a creep.
Condie...He made calculus awesome...and during 2004 with Flames creating magic, it was such a good environment in his class.
Pengelly would never stopped talking.
There was a super-christian physics teacher...I forgot his name!

Condie was awesome...had him for both Math 20 and Calc...both times it eventually changed to him discussing how to create a nail gun to shoot squirrels.
Something happened to Pengelly...at one point, he just seemed to stop caring about everything. Social 10 and 30 had maybe 2 lessons from him with the rest of the time devoted to self-learning.
Oh...forgot about Mr. Wrightson, the science teacher. Looked like a hybrid of Marx and Santa and let us play board games as a class

I remember when Wrightson joined the school back when I was in grade 8. He was homeroom teacher for my class that year and was hilarious. We had a lot of fun in that class.

Glad to hear that about Pike. He was a great guy too. I remember how he used to roll up blasting DMX for soccer practices, and how he told me to go home when I showed up for practice in less that fit condition on my birthday.
Anyone know anything about Herr Foth? He had such a great sense of humor. Always really enjoyed class with that guy.

You have him for any classes? He taught Grade 9 and 10 Humanities and basically threw the English 30 literature at us. Honestly wish I had more teachers like him who pushed their students hard.
