Hello.
I am not a Hockey Fan, but I will pretend to be one so I can hang out here. This is the most active Calgary specific forum I could find on the interweb.
I'm a far right wing liberal (if that matters around here).

I am moving from Hellhole, Ontario (that's anywhere within a 50km radius of Toronto) to Airdrie in a few months. Who knows, maybe if I'm near a city with a decent hockey team, I could become a fan of the sport.

Any ways... hopefully I don't annoy the **** out of anyone with a 'fleury' of Calgary questions, and hopefully we can all hate on Toronto together.

Cheers
Welcome. I lived in Airdrie for 8 years and my mom and most of my friends still live there. It's a great place to raise a family and it's growing so fast, there's everything you need out there.

If you have any questions about Airdrie in particular I'd be happy to help, just PM me, or post on the board. I know a lot of members here live in Airdrie currently!

As is standard with all new foreign users, it is customary to stab a Hobo once you arrive in the City, to prove your allegiance to the site.... that or you can stab puckluck, your choice.

He can just go to the Olympic Plaza and stab all the tents indiscriminately.

Based on the day to day CP discussion you are anywhere from 3-100 years from that happening. My condolences. It's a great sport!

Thanks for the warning. I'll put the AFD on speed dial.
And yet you still chose 'lotion' as your handle, not sure what to think.

There's no island portion of Nova Scotia :-) . There's Nova Scotia and there's Cape Breton; I'm from the latter.

Hamilton is 70kms from Toronto.
I like your city. Even though it's bombed out and provides instant lung cancer, it has character. Like the Marlborough Man, but with a mullet and a Nascar jacket instead of a Stetson and a denim jacket.

I am from there as well, so I tend to agree with you.
Inverness County, biatch!

.. and to CaptainCrunch. I'm a guy. I put myself in your shoes and feel your disappointment.
I'd post a picture of Belladonna with a hockey stuck up her a** (to make up for it) but I don't want to get banned on my first day.

I actually read the forum rules first.
