City won today so Mancini didn't complain again about the lack of depth at his club?

It is in the Blue Square Premier League, but funny nonetheless. Two Kettering strikers got sent off for fighting each other.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14982404.stm

Quote:
Kettering strikers Moses Ashikodi and Jean-Paul Marna were sent-off for fighting each other as Hayes & Yeading won an eight-goal thriller.
Marna had made it 5-3 in stoppage time when the duo came to blows.

Huge couple of matches tomorrow.

Arsenal against City, Arsenal havent faced City yet this season but both teams are on their 4th match in 10 days.

Liverpool vs. Chelsea. Already taken 3 points from Stamford Bridge, can they wound the rentboys yet again?

AVB said they were going for it probly see a couple kids mixed in with a regular team (Torres etc.), and Kenny told the fans a few weeks ago in no uncertain terms to not waste their money watching a reserve team

be interested what Arsenal do, City have the depth that it wont matter if they rest a few guys, Arsene usually played the kids here until last year

I think he keeps RVP and maybe Vermaelan out but a lot of the other starters play

I remember that. I'm torn because Liverpool could field a good squad, but as good as Chelsea two days after that really taxing City match? I dont know.

I'll take any chance to take it to the rentboys though. They're not that good and Liverpool can potentially match them.

Nice win for Liverpool today, off to the semis! I just hope that injury to Lucas isn't too bad. He has really become one of our top players and if he has to miss any time it will leave us incredibly thin at the CM position.

Well. That was easy. Reina didnt make a single save until well after the 65th minute. I dont think Torres managed to direct a single ball on goal.

In the Arsenal/City match, by all indications Arsenal are running wild against City but City's backup goalkeeper has kept them at bay. Fabianski hasnt made a single save, did let one by him though.

No surprises there, no RvP and Arsenal cant score.

Ha! Van Persie thought he could have scored that one from the bench!

Anyone want to place bets on United drawing Cardiff?

Could be a stiff test after the Juggernaughts of Crystal Palace.

You really have to reflect on the changes that Chelsea made as well as some decisions.

The decision to play David Luiz and Alex together in the middle is actually only borderline ######ed. While decent CBs most of the time, its usually because they have one of Terry or Ivanovic to cover them.

Not even starting Hilario, their normal backup and no real strength on the bench aside from a Nicolas Anelka who has been told in no uncertain terms to leave the club. Makes no sense to me.

Liverpool could at least play a decent squad with strength on the bench, just in case, knowing that if they had to give it all they could rest till monday.

It was a Torres header that Reina dove for and caught later on in the game was it not? Either way though, he was a non factor in the game. Looked like Lucas was determined to hound him at the start of the match as well.

My goodness what a dreadful match by Andy Carroll. That lad has a lot of growing and figuring things out to do. I will say though, that the team needs to learn how to better make use of his talents in the air. He's just not getting the service he needs to be successful. Kenny's got to settle him down a bit too. Oh, and practice penalties.

Maxi is money against Chelsea it would appear. Coates looked great, and Martin Kelly had a monster game. Good for him. Love Jose Enrique's game as well.

Is Craig Bellamy the funniest man running you've ever seen or what? Never ceases to amuse me.

Lucas being gone for potentially 6 months is obviously bad, BAD news. That guy was looking like the defensive glue in the Liverpool midfield. Sad.

Torres looks like someone ate his dog most of the time out there. I thought I almost saw tears at one point. Bad decision you made eh Nando?

What we need to do is sign some Germans. Germans know how to take penalties. Letting Brits take penalties is a recipe for disaster.

Exactly!

In other news:

Palace! What a strike from 35 yards and just a screamer into the top corner.

Palace 1 - Utd Reserves 0

And of course United get their obligatory 'home penalty.'

Granted, that was pretty blatant shirt tug on someone with a goalscoring opportunity.
