It takes a couple hundred deaths to get the unlocks and a hang of the game. I was 0.6 k/d until I started getting the optics unlocks and used to the feel of the game.
I admit, I was wrong earlier, BF3 is the clear cut, head and shoulders above winner over MW3. Playing CoD was like taking a step backwards in FPS gaming. BF3 is better in every single aspect, aside from the single player campaign I suppose.
It's hard for me, I dominate on MW3 and struggle so hard on this. I just wish I had more friends that played it. Add me PIMking13 on XBL, the BF battle log wont let me log in says too many incorrect passwords or something like that.

I'll add you and you can play with me and my buddy, we usually always stick together. We're a medic and supporter usually.

What's your XBL name?

The amount of straight up hack jobs around right now is f'in brutal - guys that are somehow level 9billion with a K/D ratio out of this world but only have some ridiculously small amount of play time.
I've been playing a bit of Conquest Metro lately and it is absolutely ridiculous. Nothing but an m320 and rocket spam fest, but packing 64 players on to that map makes for a lot of fun.
I love trying to find the one route down into the subway that the other team isn't quite watching enough, and try to just rush through there and get into the flank of the team. You can do a lot of damage or knifing back there.

I like to do the same thing as a recon, then plant a spawn beacon there. Then you (and your whole squad) can keep doing it over and over again. Until they catch on that there's a spawn beacon there, but by then it's usually too late.
Downloading the update now... changelog says they have reduced the blindness of the tactical light at mid to far distance. So I'll still be blinded by enemies 5 feet from me

Tested it last night and the difference is 1000x better for distances. If a guy is standing right in front of you, it's still waay too bright, but if he's 5-10 feet away it seems much more realistic.
They really nerfed the long-distance effect of the IRNV scope. Now at a distance everything is hazy green and you get no heat signatures. Pretty much nerfed that scope for any big maps. only good in Sienne and Metro now.
