Tree at a good lean

Is this tree toast or could it be pushed back and pegged down and saved. I'd hate to lose another tree in our yard as our other one came down this summer.

Give it a try.

Here are your choices:

If you pull it out, its going to die.

If you prop it back up, tamp down the dirt, give it some tree food . . . . . it might live.

You won't know how the second option is going to work until you try and see what happens but the first option is dead certain.

It takes a long time to grow a tree that size. I lost some shingles yesterday but all the trees stayed upright. Its easy to replace shingles.

I don't see any exposed roots, so it makes me think that it snapped at the trunk. I would think that if that happened it's done.

Can't hurt to call an aborist in and get a professional to look at it.

I'm waiting to hear back from our condo manager regarding the arborist. I don't want to just rip it out because it is a bit drunken, be great if we could save it.

The ground is heaved a bit behind it

I think the only thing you need to be worried about until an arborist can check it out is the possibility of it falling all the way and causing damage to property or a person.

^^good point...maybe i can slide my old crappy bbq underneath and claim the tree took it out
