Default CFL greats get in fight at Grey Cup luncheon; and they're 70+

Old people fight!

Quote:
Former CFL legends Joe Kapp and Angelo Mosca became involved in a fight Friday during a CFL alumni luncheon in Vancouver. A video of the incident on YouTube showed Kapp attempting to give Mosca flowers as an apparent peace offering and Mosca rejecting the gesture with an expletive.
Kapp, 73, a former B.C. Lions quarterback, then shoved the flowers in Mosca's face, prompting the 74-year-old Mosca, a former Hamilton Tiger-Cats defensive lineman, to attempt to shove them away with his hands. Kapp then swatted Mosca with the flowers, and Mosca retaliated by swinging his cane and striking Kapp in the head.

Only in Vancouver do old people riot against each other

Do we need three different threads for this video?

Good for Joe, as a Lions fan from as far back as 1954, Mosca was owed a beat down.

One thing to remember both these guys were top football players in their day. Kapp was the losing QB in the Rose Bowl and went on to sign with the Stamps. He was later traded to the Lions where he won the Grey Cup and still later led the Vikings to the Super Bowl game. In those days many top players signed with the CFL as they could make as much money as in the NFL and didn't have to put up with racial prejudices.
