I'm pretty sure I accidentally smashed Lydia in the face with my warhammer in a battle. I've got some new chick now.

She is always getting torched my dual flame spells, hasn't said a word yet! Until she does, I am assuming she is fire proof!

And many of the inns if you ask if there's work they'll give you a bounty letter which is sometimes for a nearby dragon.

I gave Lydia a broom. Is that wrong?

Man, I just had an epic one with a 1 handed sword, jumping on the back of a dragon for about a minute hacking away.

Woo, got up to 100 smithing and made my dragon armor and daedra armour, hand enough left over to do a daedra bow and dagger and upgrade all the items too.
Now I suck because all my +x% bow and sneak items don't look cool enough.
Power-levelling enchanting probably won't be as easy.

Finished the main quest, that was fun.
Took a screenshot of my character's armor. The only things with magic were the gauntlets, ring, necklace and mask.

I solved that problem the easy way...I never bothered buying a house. I killed the Dark Brotherhood and their base qualifies as a base since it seems nothing vanishes from it...Lydia just sits in Whiterun doing...something. What does she do there?

Not sure if anyone remembers but over a year ago I posted an article about Bethesda saying that if you had a baby on 11/11/11 and named it Dovahkiin you would get some kind of reward. Well apparently a couple has done it, and won free Bethesda games for life.

Remember Bethesda's strange promise to give any parent free access to its games for life if they happen to give birth on 11/11/11 and name their child Dovahkiin? I had forgotten about the bizarre Skyrim contest too, but Megan and Eric Kellermeyer sure took note. The couple are now the proud parents of Dovahkiin Tom Kellermeyer... and winners of the competition.

I suspect they filed for an official name change right after they won.

I haven't completed that quest, but I've started it.... there's something along the lines of part of Molag Bal's essence being trapped in the mace tho. And he's evil... so if you have it with you, I guess in a way you're acting on behalf of evil.
/shrug
Back to your original questinon... The item scaling in the game seems strange to me. Like it's very easy to get amazing weapons early and never find another upgrade. I have an elven bow that does something like 30 base damage and 30 shock damage... and I don't even focus on archery for other than my opening attack. I'm level 31, and got it about 10 levels ago.
oh well.

Most deadra gods are evil. Just wait until you meet Hermaus Mora.
I am hoping to find a Sithis shrine.

I found my current Orcish armor when I was level 15 (I am level 33 right now) and haven't changed the armor and boots yet. I keep upgrading it by smithing and they are on legendary status.
I should be making my ebony armor if I wanted to, I'm just too lazy.

Really dumb question: How do you recharge weapons? I have a full soul gem and an empty charge weapon (with the soul gem being equal size to the weapon)...
Scaling of weapons is unusual...I've got Dwarf weaponry at level 14 and just take armour off dead enemies (really nice after clearing out the Dark Brotherhood).

go to the weapon in your inventory, press T (PC), then select the gem to use; different size gems recharge it a different amount. For consoles just look at the bottom of the inventory screen, there's a "recharge" button, don't know what it is.
