World War III will happen. Iran, North Korea and Pakistan will declare war against the US. The EU quickly joins sides with America and many of its member states will begin fighting. Canada joins the Allies shortly after. China and Russia try to remain neutral at first, but revolutions occur in both countries and a wave of anti-American sentiment sweeps across them. So they join the Axis Powers. India, seeing Pakistan as a threat, joins the Allies to prevent an Islamic takeover. Brazil and Argentina later declare war on China, while Israel declares war on Iran. Many former Soviet states are invaded by Russia, and soon they announce the re-forming of the Soviet Union. Tensions in Africa begin to flare up and soon a war between the predominantly Arab countries and sub-Saharan countries gets underway, known as The Great African War. The fate of the world is at risk... what will happen? Stay tuned.

The economy collapses globally, First world nations can no longer send money to third world nations and we see mass starvation and death, wars start in the African continent over food and any mineral wealth there, nobody cares anymore.

Extremism continues to rise in the middle east, to protect themselves, Europe kills all immigration from the middle east.

China's economy goes through severe problems as the other nations in the world move to protectionist polices and punish Chinese goods with heavy tarrifs, meanwhile Chinese workers revolt over the lack of living wages.

America falls off of the edge as they try to spend their way out of their problems, the European union collapses and Germany and France completely separate their economies.

In terms of science we enter another dark age, as money is not spent on research when people are starving.

Resources based economies become the new kings as Canada and Russia and to an extent the middle east oil producing countries sell their resources for hideous profits.

Iran completes its nuclear program and launch a pre-emptive high atmospheric strike over Israel destroying the civilian based electronics infrastructure, Israel launches several sea based missiles at Iran destroying it, after that the Arab States band together to destroy Israel, the Americans enter on Israel's side, China and Russia stung over economic damage caused by America's new isolationist economy that collapses world trade enter the conflict by supplying weapons and advisers to the new League of Arab Nations. Israel realizing that they're losing the war based on sheer numbers launches another nuclear strike destroying the capitals of each Middle Eastern Capital.

Meanwhile North Korea after several decades of starvation launch an attack to seize the economic and resource rich South, at 12:00 am on Jan 15, 2030 they launch a time on target consisting of nuclear biological and conventional weapons on Seoul killing millions, the North Korea army rolls into the South in a lightning attack, the Americans up to their neck in the middle east send a carrier battle group which is attacked and destroyed by North Korean modern subs supplied by the Chinese. As the situation bends out of control the Americans suffer another terrorist attack when a chemical attack is carried out in Dallas Texas, they quickly trace the terrorists back to Saudi Arabia and link the funding to members of the Saudi royal family, carrying out the Reagan doctrine the American's obliterate Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile the age old conflict between India and Pakistan erupts into a brutal ground war which threatens to escalate when Pakistan uses artillery based nukes to blast open the lines for their troops, India screams for help and the Russians oblige by sending India both battlefield nukes and advanced chemical weapons which India promptly uses on civilian targets causing millions of casualties.

Because of the mass conflicts the entire world economy stops, while some countries are hurt less then others all countries slide towards a global depression with no answer because there's no co-operation.

In America, tired of the poor economy and the constant wars elect a president representing the New America National Party. The New America National party promises its citizens that they will restore national pride and punish the countries that have repeatedly stabbed them in the back, the first act of the new president is to phone china and demand complete debt forgiveness. He specifically states that America will not stand by and watch China destroy America's economy with their spurious and illegal economic practices. America gives China 25 hours to comply.

After 25 hours China not only refuses to comply but does a run on American dollars selling their massive stocks, the American dollar crashes to .40 cents. America responds by sending a invasion fleet to China, they also begin airstrikes on key Chinese manufacturing, energy production and military targets.

China responds by launching its 13 ballistic missiles and 28 submarine based missiles at America. America's antiqued ballistic missile shield utterly fails. New York, Washington, Boston, LA and Chicago are destroyed. America launches an overwhelming strike at China.

Terrified Americans flee to the Canadian border, Canada's Prime Minister closes the border and withdraws from Nato and Norad. America now truly crippled decides that their only alternative is to seize the Canadian Oilfields and mineral resources, America sends a quarter million men over the border and quickly overwhelm the Canadian Forces who decide to fight a underground war. A desperate Canada reaches out to Russia who are too eager to help and a massive land battle occurs in Canada, in exchange for their help Russia seizes the arctic resources.

Meanwhile the greatest scientific discoveries over the last 100 years are based around consumer electronics.

By the end of the 100 years, China is crippled as is America. Israel is overwhelmed and is occupied by the Arab nations, enraged by the use of nuclear weapons they begin to ethnically clean Israel.

India and Pakistan are basically reduced to fighting using cavalry charges and swords.

Germany and France are isolated.

Billions are starving in their beds every night, and mankind begins the spiral to extinction.

I predict a return to raging nationalism world wide and more isolationism as the global economy continues to evolve.

In western countries, internal strife will start a blame game in many countries, which will result in mass deportations and even genocides. The concept of nationstates will also change as people will stop depending on their governments and things like national defense and foreign trade are going to become privatized. Corporations and banks will become wealthier (and more powerful) than countries and will begin competing for population centres. They will build armies to take over other territories. It will resemble a modern form of feudalism as no one will really want to pay for the expensive democratic institutions anymore. People will become de facto serfs and slavery will once again become accepted on a small scale. I see a lot of regressing in the western world in the next 100 years.

China will continue to become a major superpower and will build an empire in Asia. Most scientific advancements will come from China and they will not share them with the world.

Not much changes. 2111 is about the same as 2011, with a few new gadgets.

We will have robots. Robots that look like Angelina Jolie and perform like Jenna Jameson. I will own two of these units in my late 80's, and they will keep me company and fill my Viagra drip.

We will also be able to grow a newer version of ourselves and then transplant our old brains into our new bodies. I would have done this long ago, but I spent all my money on Viagra drips.

Entertainment will be completely and utterly immersive. No more TV screens, but implants in our contact lenses that will keep us entertained 24/7. There really will be no need to travel.

Those who do wish to travel, however, will do so in flying cars, but these will drive themselves and not really be flying, but will be run on magnets that make it seem like they are flying.

There will still be cultural/ideological/religious clashes and wars, but these will happen predominantly in Africa. And yes, Africa will still be a #####hole.
