Tiger Woods and Steve Williams punch-out on the 1st tee box!
No wait, it was just a handshake.

Mickelson and watson have been good for the Americans so far... Stricker awful- which isnt a surprise as he's fighting an injury and hasnt played competitively since the Tour Championship

The Internationals really choked on the back 9. They were 3UP in 2 matches and halved both of them.
Should have been 3-3, at worse 3.5-2.5. 4-2 really put them in an early hole.

I am guessing the Americans hope that they will have it won by the time it gets to Furyk and put him there just in case things aren't going well so that he can come up with a big win.
If it is close at the end I don't like the Americans chance with their 3 worst guys going in the 3 last pairings. Couples seems to have tried to hide them there so their matches wouldn't matter.
I see Simpson, Watson, Mahan, Mickelson winning their matches and one of Johnson, Kuchar or Watney winning as well meaning it is over when Lefty wins.

USians struggling. Dustin Johnson just hit a ball up the hill 3 times and Bubba Watson putted a ball right off the green.
3 yellow flags up early.

Internationals leading everywhere.
Phil Mickelson has conceded the first 3 holes of his match. Scott hasn't even hit a putt! Just get on the green and win.

Tiger is up by five. I think his match will be the clincher.

Yup, just like in 2009.
Internationals didn't really have a chance playing 10 men against 12.
Captain's picks Baddeley and Allenby were complete mugs.

Odd that the worst American golfer is the one that will seal the deal (or I guess tied for worst as Stricker was pretty weak as well.)
The International captains picks were bad but it isn't like the Americans picks were that great themselves. Has picked up a few points thanks to his partner but Woods was pretty much garbage all weekend long. Lucky for him he got Baddley today to make it look like he was actually okay.

Woods appears to have his game back. His putting was great and he seems to have found a golf swing that he is comfortable with. Considering the knee surgery and Tiger having to change the way he hits the ball, i'd say his game and confidence is back. I look forward to seeing what his does this up coming season.

Agreed. He had one bogey and I think about six birdies. And that long bunker shot on the clinching hole was absolutely clutch. I know its more popular to slag Tiger, but the game is so much more engaging when he's playing well. And l have to laugh out loud hearing Tiger and Steve Stricker being called " the worst golfers."
I also liked the sportmanship displayed at this event. Very refreshing.

Why because I state the truth that Woods was the weakest American out there this weekend?
Sorry I don't blow smoke up the loser's ass when he plays like crap.

Yes there plus 3 in the fourball round on the opening day was stellar golf.
Shocked they didn't take that match 9 and 8 with great play like that.
