I sent my Nano in today.
I'm curious to see what they will return; I can't see them having a whole bunch of 1st gen replacements available but perhaps they do.

I have one of these laying around somewhere. I should dig it out.
I could never really use it much because just connecting it to my computer and uploading songs made my computer crash every time. Probably more a problem with my crappy out-dated computer though.

It is interesting that they didn't show it as received until a week after the unit was shipped back to them, but they were probably inundated.

Just got my notice that my nano is shipping back to me... and they are sending me the 6th gen 8gig one. woo, not a bad deal for a nano I got for free originally.

Yeah mine is taking forever too, but at least you got a box I have been waiting since November 17th or something for it...I was hoping I could have got a new nano before Xmas as I am planning on donating it to the childrens hospital since I have an iPhone and a touch.

I received and completed the recall submission on Nov 11, received confirmation on Nov 12, had the box shipped back to them on the 15th and am still waiting.
I wasn's using it so I'm not being impatient, I'm just kind of curious about how long it takes. They must have been slammed.
