I just read that the CPS isn't going to forcefully remove tents and Hanson said that they aren't causing any damage....I suppose the terrorists win.

Police can't, but tents, signs, etc fall under by-laws. In theory by-law officers could remove. Then if they refuse to co-operate the police could be called in.

I keep seeing a vehicle parked on the SE walkway to the Plaza . . . First it was a white pickup truck now it's a Dodge Caravan (I think) . . . Either the cops are being nice letting people park there or people love getting bylaw tickets . . . ?

On the one hand I get that the city is refusing to provide the spectacle so many are expecting this to break down to. But on the other it still really bugs me that a small group of people with no real agenda or cause are being allowed to commandeer public property indefinitely. At this point they're just feeding their own egos "oh man, we've soooo got the city by the balls!".
At this point I'd imagine the media are fed up with it as well (this is day two of sitting in the cold for essentially nothing) and I'd imagine they'll stop covering this after a while.

This whole thing is starting to remind me of that Simpsons episode where monsters are destroying Springfield, and the only way to get rid of them is to just not pay attention.
Therefore, lets try a new tactic - media gives them no air time and the public just ignore anything they're doing. Heck, closing this thread could be CP's contribution

I actually thought that was pretty funny! Sure, maybe one or two people don't agree with me politically, but I didn't think I was as out to lunch as Mikey or HOZ! I'm not a commie though....I'm maybe a red conservative or a blue liberal. It just seems communist because you guys are fascists!
Lets all agree that Mao would've sent the tanks in by now though? That or let the generations protestors come out of the woodwork to think that they were getting somewhere and then send in the tanks....takes care of things for the next 15-20 years at a time that way.
