Theoretically, future potential employers could be watching these people behave like total morons next week, and decide not to hire them.
Also, agenda driven or not, I like that Cory is filming the activities. In any of these demonstrations, there are people within it looking for a fight with the cops. It is always good to have people outside of that group with a camera, so that you don't just get the protestor view of things.

I like that the police are filming their actions themselves, presumably to protect themselves from whatever actions the protestors might try and take later.
Edit - oh it's not the police filming? Same side anyways.

Careful - I don't think Mr. filmmaker is on the side of the police, especially after his bylaw incident last week. I think his camera has just as much reason to be there to film police hypocrisies as it does protester ######baggery.

Maybe I should pay more attention to this thread.

Man, you really are dense.
Morgan went out there with the specific intention of getting a bylaw ticket. That should be pretty obvious. I doubt for a second he's choked at the cops. If anything, he used them to his own (and from my POV, the city's) advantage by highlighting the fact that the laws were not being evenly enforced.
Now, one can debate how effective that protest was, but when you get down to it, it wasn't long after that the city started to take the bylaw issue seriously.

So they weren't considering it before the one-man counter protest? I'd wager to think they were.

Morgan was calling out the ineffectiveness of the City and of the police to lay down the law when it comes to bylaws. He's just as ticked at the police as he is at City administration.
That much is obvious.
Or is that too dense of a concept for you?

Alright, since we're not allowed to discuss it in this thread, can we start a new thread asking the Bobsey Twins what their problem is with someone expressing his opinion, whether it's for future political ammunition, or just because it really grinds his gears that people are squatting in the park? Please? I really need to know WHAT THE HELL is their problem with someone having a problem with the stupid, useless protest.

I don't have a problem with any counter protest.

So would I. Thus the opening of that statement: "One can debate its effectiveness..."

He was just as ticked. I suspect if you ask his appendage, she would tell you that is no longer the case. Especially given that the police and city are now doing what he asked them to do.

Heh, if 4x4 actually read the thread, we don't have a problem with him expressing his opinion, it's more the political motivations behind it. He can express anything he wants.

Actually the police were filming as well. I saw that in another clip from Sun News (I think)
As to other comments re "Morgans" relationship with CPS; it is just fine. He has been thanked several times. They understand (and even helped) the point he was trying to make.

It's too bad a parade didn't break out during a night when the protestors were sleeping. I agree with the pepperball idea, although paintballs would have been alot funnier (but probably more dangerous, so nevermind haha).

Someone should drive by at 3AM and lay on the air horn for a good minute. That should disrupt their sleep.
