I believe in the Jays.

Figures, my texans finally look like they are a real contender and now Schaub has a significant foot injury an will miss some time. Rumor has it that it is broken and hey may miss the remainder of the season. Now foster, Johnson, Mario and Schuab will all have missed significant time this year.
Next man up. Ya I'm looking at you Mr. Leinart.

Yeah just saw it on breaking news on NFL Live, huge blow. Too bad, I've always had a bit of a soft spot for the Texans. But never fear Texans fans, the man who will keep the ship afloat the rest of the year is:
At least he's a team player.

Yowza, that sucks. If that is the case then I don't see them winning their 1st round playoff game but getting to the playoffs in itself is a huge plus for the Texans. Hopefully he isn't out too long.
Lots of injuries. Schaub, Cassel and Moreno all look to be out for the year.

At this point, I think we will see a rematch of last year's Superbowl and the same result. Teams like New England and New Orleans will have things to say about that, but I don't see anyone beating GB at home in the playoffs and Pittsburgh only has 1 real tough game left (at SF) and if they get home field, I like their chances.

There's a slight chance that 3 of the 6 AFC playoff QBs will be Palmer, Leinart, and Sanchez.

Packers D looking much much better than at anytime this season....Rodgers and the offense looking like they are pretty much unstoppable when they get into their groove as they usually have been thus far.....its a good time to be a fan of these guys.

To be fair they are laying the wood to a pretty offensively one dimensional team right now. I would maybe wait for a little more consistancy from this defence before getting too excited with their performance, which has been below average (defensively) against alot of playoff calibre teams.
Luckily they can outscore anyone in the league.

Even Matt Flynn looks like a decent enough quarterback that I could see some of these other teams desperate looking for some help. I think he may be better then a few starters out there

I never said they weren't. But with how they performed against the Chargers and Broncos in the last 4 weeks I wouldn't be so quick to get on the defense's side, they still have some proving to do against much better offenses

I don't see anybody beating GB. Kudos to them, they are fun to watch and Rodgers is easily the best QB in the league right now. I would be shocked if they don't get back to the Superbowl.

The only way GB loses this year is if they beat themselves. Rodgers is not only the best QB in the league right now but the best player.

have to love the way Charles Woodson plays, not sure why the Raiders ever gave up on him. perhaps tdecisions like that are why the Raiders have been so bad the last 10 years. GB defense looked better than they have in recent weeks, which could spell trouble for other teams.

I think the reasoning is three-fold: (1) the emergence of Nnamdi Asomougha meant that Woodson was 'expendable' and that having both was too much money at CB; (2) the number of top 5 and top 10 picks really put a financial strain on the Raiders; (3) frankly, and likely the biggest reason, is that Woodson appeared over-the-hill and really lacked the effort and leadership you see in Green Bay. He went to GB essentially as a stop gap and found an incredible second wind. At the time he was allowed to wall, I don't think even Packers fan knew how good he would be for them.
My all time favorite college football player and favorite all-time Raider.

yeah he is a bit of a freak when it comes to his abilities at his age...but beyond the fact he may take better care of himself than any other player in the game, he is simply so smart and thinks the game much like a defensive coach would....add that to his natural athletic talent and ability to command respect from those around him, and you get what you see. By far the best d player this team has seen since Reggie White and a great mentor to the Packers youngsters who will form the core of the club for the next 5-8 years in Matthews, Williams and Raji.

the way he closed on the reciever and almost made a great interception, didnt know he still had those kind of wheels. Also unlike some CB's, he will lay a good hit on a reciever. Another pretty solid move by Ted Thompson

Strangely, the only thing that might stop the Packers now, is a freezing cold home date in January. -40 tends to level the playing field.
