Man my team is generating no shots - I think that is 3 or 4 games in a row under 20 shots generated.

Tried some different lines - didn't work though I'll take the point.

Edit: Just checked and the Wild are last in the league with 21.58 shots per game - a full 4 shots less per game than any other team. Brutal. Can't complain about the record but the offense ain't working.

Good defensive battle. Great discipline again, taking ZERO penalties. Havlat and Datsyuk continue to play well and justify their acquisitions. And Miller with another first star performance.

Lost a close one. Happy with the overall performance though. Would have been nice to get a pp opportunit but the habs kept it clean.

Back at it with Chicago tomorrow to wrap up 3 in 3.

Wasn't really expecting a win, Burrows with a huge game in on every goal.

Paul Gaustad beats up Chris Clark at 19:19 of 3rd period
Paul Gaustad ejected from game at 19:19 of 3rd period
Paul Gaustad from Anaheim Ducks is suspended for 5 game(s)

Wonder what Gaustad did?

Happy to get back in the win column. Jets played us tough the last 2 days.

How about the baby Sens, outshot San Antonio 42-8!

Weiss scores with 12 seconds left in OT. The win extends the streak to 7 straight.

The Leafs decided Roloson should take the night off and relax with his wife of 162 years, and it pays off big time. Michal Neurvith stepped up and almost single handedly won the game for the Leafs. When asked about his first win of the season and his assist on the third goal he was quoted as saying, " I really wanted to get my first win this season. I just couldnt trust these clownshoes to close it out so i took matters into my own hands on the third goal". Looks like Michal earned himself another game between the pipes.

Nashville wins a second straight! Ben Bishop came in for his first pro action and managed to hold on for a 2-1 win. Really the score was 3-1, but the ref felt bad for the Coyotes with this bizarre call:

Nashville goal is going for review. After video review, no goal. The referee deems the play had stopped even if he had not physically had the opportunity to stop play by blowing his whistle.

Just an amusing quirk of the sim! We were also 1/1 on the power play and take a day off before we play the Maple Leafs.

A last-minute goal to tie things up for us and then the shootout victory. We'll take wins however they come.

One of our best wins of the season, balanced scoring for once. We really clicked this game and didn't miss Byfuglien at all. We replaced Byf with 58OV Anton Stralman and he was +3. Go figure.

Costly game for the Sabres, who not only took an OT loss but also lost the services of Matt Stajan who has been surprisingly solid thusfar in the 2nd line C spot, it's a minor injury but folks will need to step up over the next week as he will be out of action, rumor has it the SAbres will move Josh Bailey from 4th line LW to 2nd line C as their first solution
