Black Sabbath is back!!

So pumped! Way before my time, but the music will never die. Hoping for a Calgary concert date, and if not, somewhere close.

Saw Black Sabbath at OzFest in Seattle, it was unbelievable.
Ozzy can't talk, but he sure can sing.

From the announcement earlier today:
"Butler also commented that the new material sounds like the "old Sabbath style and sound."
We should be allowed to swear on this thread.

I just can't get into 'Ozzy' Sabbath after Dio set the bar so frikkin high. Ronnie had more vocal talent in his sphincter than Ozzy and his nasally sound will ever have.

Without Randy Rhodes, it is not Black Sabbath.

Haha. You two are weird.
Awesome about THE Sabbath finally putting out another album together, but as for the Van Halen stuff, for me, without Michael Anthony and his giant Jack Daniels bottle bass, it is just not gonna be authentic Van Halen.

Was a joke, Randy was w/Ozzy when he left Sabbath to go solo. Van Halen is a strange one. All you really need is Eddie and you can choose either Diamond Dave or Hagar. I didn't ever notice Michael Anthony but now it's Eddie's son or something isn't it?
But I do agree that Dio set a bar for vocals in Black Sabbath but it was always Ozzy's band.

Ozzy finally remembered where he left the band?
I gotta admit, this is pretty exciting news.

I love Dio, but at least Ozzy sang about more than just Dungeons and Dragons. Heaven and Hell is a great album, but cannot hold a candle to the first 4 Sabbath albums. I'm beyond excited for this.
Tony Iommi is criminally underrated as a guitarist.
