Apparently Cory wasn't attempting or expressing a message with this stunt. Thus he's not protected by the charter...

I'm honestly baffled by this position that somehow the Occupy Calgary camp is protected as free expression by the charter, but Cory's stunt is not.

Both actions are pubic actions that are open to judgement form the public, both are in violation of city bylaws.

As the public we have the opportunity to agree or disagree with both. Yet somehow Cory's isn't a valid form of expression.

Somebody help me here?

What I'm wondering, is why people are assuming it human feces and not just dog feces? The ick factor at the closeness to the tent is still valid, but not sure why people are automatically assuming its human.
