I'll probably pick it up, but no not really all that excited for it.
I played Black Ops for like an afternoon, never got into it.
With the new Assassin's Creed out a week later this one is going to have to be good to hold my attention.

MW1 was incredible. It really invigorated a stale franchise.
The whole idea of what it would be like to be a soldier in war today, it really tried to capture that.
Then MW2 came along and really turned it into a unique (ie crappy) story. I didn't like the creative license they took with MW2.
MW was cool because it seemed almost plausible, but then they got all over the top and became more theatrical than anything.
I like a good blend of realism and entertainment.
From the trailers it seems MW3 is just a continuation of MW2

Yeah, don't think i've ever finished the single player on any versions. I've tried but then someone will log on and invite to multiplayer and pretty much shuts it down. Love the multiplayer, such a blast.

Pretty excited...I don't know if I'll spend much time on the single player.
Definitely stoked to start playing online...I'm getting tired of Black Ops (guess I'm not hitting 15th prestige)

I think MW2 had a story somewhere in there, I'm not sure but I think it was the story of a man who has to kill every moving thing in the entire universe and eliminate all life as we know it... to get his kids back if I remember correctly.

I'm getting MW3, sounds like they got rid of some stuff that was annoying in the multiplayer of MW2. No more perk to run fast forever and no more super lunging knife attacks. Also no super explosives, so grenade launchers won't be as effective.

Norm!
That's a great ad, of course, when I step on a mine, I do more then say "Oh come on!"
Its more like "#$@#$ #$#$ #$#@! ^$#$%#$%#$%" followed by my controller sailing majestically across the room.

Call of Madden Duty '12.
Anything new and refreshing in this one, or just the yearly coat of paint that everyone is expecting?

Why have I heard of so many places selling early? Would love to get this early. Was it a major retailer?

A friend did get it for me at a major retailer, but I don't believe they are selling them anymore. One stupid employee I guess!
