I have several other cars that I don't drive.

I should really buy a new car.

Hard question to answer.

The M5 gets the nod for the cool factor. And it sounds like an absolute beast (especially with the exhaust I had on it).

The 335i - however - gets the nod for almost everything else. Power at these altitudes, the M5 is matched stock for stock by the 335i due to losses as a result of the lower oxygen density. With the JB4, the M5 gets embarassed flat-out.

If you told me I could have one or the other in mint condition, perfect working order, I'd take the 335i. And I never thought I'd say that.

Really? That surprises me. I know NA cars take a kicking at our altitude, but I'm surprised it's enough the 335 will outrun it in stock form. Impressive.

I want a FI car

As it sits, the 335i was underrated from the factory. I can't remember what magazine actually did it, but they dyno'd a 335i and found it was actually making closer to 320 horsepower.

The 335i also weighs less than the M5 by about 300 lbs and with the 6-speed automatic, shifts a LOT faster.
