Watched this one on Al Jazeera sports. Gary Lineker was the anchor with Venables, Shearer and McManaman on the panel
That is about the most interesting thing about the game.
Dull with a capital D.

Do you work for Sky?
If Gervihno simply looked up and passed to the open player even Torres would have scored... The final ball really hurt us in the first half, the second half in general hurt.

Ferguson decided that his lack of competent central midfielders means he's only going to play 1

I will say this too, if Fergie was willing to give Rooney a while to learn central midfield
that's his next star central midfielder, he's Scholes and Keane combined
and with Welbeck and Chicharito up top, I don't know why he wouldn't

And.....hat trick.
He will be leading the line for Ze Germans. Two years ago this guy couldnt hit the broadside of a barn with a cannon, and the last two seasons he just cant miss.
I remember hearing that Liverpool were trying to pry him out of Bayern a few years ago because he couldnt get off the bench because of Klose.
So close.....

FIFA and the individual teams need to take a stronger stance with dealing with racism.
Any racist chants occur at a game and the team should have to play the next game at an empty stadium.

how do you think they are going to line up in midfield and up front
I'm assuming they keep the 4-2-3-1
Gomez
??/Ozil/??
Schwiensteiger/Khedira
Has Gotze done enough to get in? or is it 2/3 of Podolski/Kroos/Marin

I'm just catching up on my PVR and saw his third goal today. I'm floored at his talent right now. He's reading the plays well and is always in the right place.

I agree, they keep the 4-2-3-1, but formations are difficult, it'll probably line up like that or similar, but I think it will in effect be more attack minded. It depends on the opposition.
Gomez leads up front, I think Gotze gets in over Marin at this point. As I understand both Kedira and Marin are out of favour with Low at the moment.
That midfield could be anything from day to day. You've totally forgotten Muller who, in my opinion is their first choice RW.
I personally think:
Podolski/Kroos - Ozil - Muller
Schweinsteiger - Gotze
But Schweinsteiger hangs around as the magic man in the middle allowing Gotze to move up and push Ozil into an almost attacking Mid spot. If they're more concerned about defence then you swap Gotze for Khedira and hold it like that.
The basic premise is that the guys pulling the strings in the middle of the pitch will be Schweinsteiger and Ozil and if you add Gotze then they'll be really difficult to defend against.

I know the german players have a history of being completely different players for the national team compared to clubs
but hasn't Muller been a huge disappointment since the WC?

That is a tough, tough midfield to play against, especially considering these players are already really good and then they put on their world class superhero capes when they play for Germany.
They really should be dominating at the Euros and WC 2014
