Judge William Adams is not fit to be anywhere near the law system if he can't even exercise fit judgement as a parent himself. Do not allow this man to ever be re-elected again. Disagree. It's great if she's made amends and has a working relationship with here daughter now but there's no excuse to not only allow but assist in the abuse of your own children.

With that said, even without the manipulation and emotional abuse, going up against a Judge for custody does put her backed into a corner. So I'm not going to try to paint this women as the devil or anything but I don't feel she's blameless.

At first, when I read he had spanked his daughter, my reaction was well that is not such a big deal. Then I watched the first minute and 10 seconds of the video (the spanking starts at about 1:05) and I was horrified that someone could do that to their kid for even 5 seconds. I shudder to think what the rest of the video contains.

I can't watch it.

More of the same but the mother coming in and supporting the father. Quite disgusting.

Not sure where the cerebral palsy comes in. Very, "normal"-looking child

So how was this recorded? Did the daughter setup the camera? Or is it from a web-cam?

I didn't see anything online that explains this.

Also: this guy deserves a special place in hell. There is spanking and disciplining your children, and there is flat out beating. This was beating. No excuses here. Disgusting.

Yes I'm guessing the daughter set up the camera to get the beating on tape. She did it 6 or 7 years ago and only uploaded it up now after her father verbally abused her on the phone. She finally had enough and decided to ruin his life. And I say good for her.

There is a toddler in that video. I can't help but think she didn't post the video earlier because the other child still had contact with the father and she didn't want that child to receive the rage.

I can say that a guy that has that much anger and clearly was excited over the chance to beat his daughter isn't going to be happy and this young woman better be taking the necessary precautions right now. Restraining orders, never being alone etc...

Wow, that was completely stomach turning, the image of both the father and the mother standing over her holding their own his and her belts and flailing away is utterly disgusting.

And I get that the mother was abused in the wedding herself, but she was flailing away with no remorse whatsover in that video.

The abuse went on for about 5 minutes and it was 6 minutes too long based on what she did to get that treatment.

I've made no bones that my old man was very strict with me, and I did some things that warrented what I got, but it was never a 5 minute long scream fest with both parents taking their turns. It was a couple of swats (I did get the belt once for punching out my older sister when I was 10) but he was never standing over me screaming, and when it was done he made sure that I understood what was going on and what I did. After the punishment we never spoke about it again, and we moved on, these two monsters don't seem to be the type to do that.

I've always said that there's a time and place where a good swat on the bottom can be effective, and no it doesn't make us cereal killers (play on user name), but its the atomic bomb deterrant with kids and not to be pulled out for downloading stupid music.

I would hazard a guess that this guy will honestly receive some votes due to his actions in the video.

Good news! The Judge apologized and says it really wasn't as bad as it looked. Everything is better now!

And since she set up a camera too, presumably, it was a common occurrence. Not a one-time horrible day where everything went wrong day where some very bad choices were made. Not that it would be excusable but it's far worse knowing it happened multiple times.

I agree, and I assume she had many such videos of varying levels of severity. I would think that she probably posted one of the worst ones, as I know I would have in her place.

I agree with everything you said other than bolded part above. Rules are rules , or at least they were in my house, and if you broke them you were punished with swats. I always got the belt when I was in trouble. Afterwards my dad made sure I knew why I got the punishment. I am old enough to have still gotten swats in school from the principal in elementary but young enough to see that the lack of punishment at home and in schools are making some of the kids these days quite difficult to deal with .

Obviously this beating is to the extreme but I am not opposed to spankings if they are warranted. Of course I am also from Oklahoma and know many older people who would think the beating posted above was normal . They would say , "pfft she got off easy , dont make me tell you about my parents and have having to go pick my switch off the tree. I would pick a small one and my mom would beat my butt for getting the small one then she would go pick one and beat me with that."
