So far I'm still loving this challenge. Forces you to check out some albums you've been putting off. Why have I denied myself the greatest of The Rural Alberta Advantage all this time?

The Rural Alberta Advantage - Departing (Seriously in love with this album now)
The Black Keys - Brothers
Japanther - Beets, Limes and Rice
Neil Young - Harvest
The Postal Service - Give Up
Neko Case - Middle Cyclone
Megadeth - Th1rt3en
Thanks again for posting this on CP kermitology, would have missed out otherwise until I started seeing other's tweets a few days in.
My favourite part about last year was discovering The Glitch Mob. Man I love their stuff.
Plus you get to add people to follow on Rdio which is nice for finding new tunes. That RAA album is great. There is something about the drums on Muscle Relaxants that makes me want to dance.

I'm participating in #monm for the first time this year (Rdio RULES). Enjoying it quite a bit. So far:
Dustin Kensrue - Please Come Home (slightly bluesy, City and Colour kind of sound. I really liked it)
The Black Keys - Attack and Release (Haven't heard anything by them prior to their latest. Quite impressed with this one, surprisingly mellow at times)
Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds (As a fan of old Oasis when all the songs sounded the same, this is a great album. If Liam's "Beady Eye" isn't your cup of tea, this is much more "Oasis-y")
Hedley - Storms (Music snobs attack! Not quite my cup of tea, but as far as pop music goes it isn't that bad. A couple of pretty rough tracks but the cheesy emo ballads are catchy).
Honourable mention goes to M83 - Hurry Up, We're Dreaming. While not a part of my #monm, I've been listening to it a lot lately. If the 80's were done right it would sound like this.
