Cardinals are going to win the game. The Rangers just seem defeated.

Arthur Rhodes???
I don't like this move at all.
Edit: Nevermind Rhodes did what he was supposed to do.

Well moon, as previously stated you'll get m jello pudding cup. Do you want chocolate or vanilla?
My teams are now 0/3 in championship series. I hate this term but it's appropriate FML

A very good series.
MQS: The Rangers will be back, they will be the dominant team this decade with the personnel they have and the money that market will be raking in.
The Reds lost 2 WS in a row before the became the Big Red Machine.
The Braves lost 2 WS in a row before the dominated the 90s (even with only 1 WS win)

Well they made it interesting all season long and in this series but were great when it mattered in this game.
Rangers had a great season and will be back here sooner than later with their team and prospects.
Feels great to see the Cards win!

What the hell was CJ Wilson doing pitching in game 7?
Rangers got out coached badly.

Maybe the bigger question is why didn't he start? He had three days rest much like Carpenter did and did decently.

His last regular start wasn't so hot, I don't know how he would have done on short rest.

Man, what a comeback story for the Cards, not just in the season over-all, but even in this series after what happened Thursday. But you've gotta feel bad for the Rangers, one strike away from their first ever World Series title not once, but twice. And they come up empty handed.
When Josh Hamilton nailed that dinger in the top of the 10th I figured that was it and that swing would be the cover of the next Sports Illustrated. Really feel for those guys, they must be crushed.

I think that guys like Sabbathia, Lee, Halliday and even to an extent Carpenter are making 3 days rest look a lot easier than it actually is. Carpenter struggled the first time he went on 3 days rest.
I know guys used to do it all the time but with the way that pitchers are babied today I am not sure that it is a good idea for everybody.
Harrison/Holland had been pretty good all year for Texas so it does make sense to go with one of them rather than Wilson, a second tier guy not on the level of the 4 mentioned above, on 3 days rest.

I apologize to you and the team.
I did think that they made some odd choices in the off-season and got older when they needed to get younger but am very glad that I was wrong.

Well the Cards did the one thing that can make them never regret that Colby Rasmus deal. Even if Rasmus goes on to be the most epic player in Baseball, they can always go back to the fact that the pieces they got helped them win it all.

I hope Texas will learn from this, they obviously didnt learn from last year. The Yankees are old, very old, they are more than a few pieces away (even at their 800 Billion Payroll) from getting back to the W.S. Boston is now retooling, teams like Texas, Toronto,Tbay, Chicago etc etc have to "go for it" now.
When you lose last year with a guy like Cliff Lee as your ace, you need to spend a few bucks and replace him and ADD more depth. (See the Atlanta Braves of the 90s) never good enough and simply adding a small upgrade here or there, got them 1 title, in 10 Pennants?
They added a Beltre and tried to scare Michael Young out of town from the start of spring
bad move!
