Your anger is misplaced. We aren't the problem any more than Kendra and your friends are. The problem is that the people running this contest chose to determine its winner via a popularity contest that is completely disconnected from the quality or value of the idea presented. Do you mean to tell me that all of your votes are coming from people who watched all of the presentations and decided yours was the best? I don't think so.
Winning won't validate your idea's worth, and losing won't invalidate it, because the contest was designed to be rigged. Consider this a life lesson: Sometimes you get screwed by a flaw in the system.
