What do you pay for house cleaning?

We have been paying $25.00 per hour for 2 hours per week.

I used to pay for housecleaning, but now I wallow in my filth.

I want to say it was something like 112 each visit for twice monthly cleaning.

$25 an hour for laundry and cleaning. Seems pretty standard.

Usually every two weeks, 3-4 hours a visit.

I pay about $135 every two weeks. Seems like I might be getting hosed, but it is 3 ladies for 3-4 hours, so 9-12 hours of cleaning.

edit: This is about 2,400 sq feet, 2 story, 3 bedrooms, an office, a bonus room, and then the kitchen and living room. 3 bath rooms

I think everyone should revise their post with more info, such as sq. feet being cleaned, # of rooms, floors, etc

I'm going to ask her about laundry...that would be nice if she'd do that as well.

I think it's a bit much, but she's trustworthy and does a decent job.

$25/hr x 3 hrs, weekly. 1800 sqft, 3 bdr, 2.5 baths, 2 story with bonus room. We have kept this price going on 7 years.

She does a better job than I ever would, but its not like she's deep cleaning every sqft.

I called Servpro once as they have weekly cleaning services. The first visit was going to run we close to $400 but I think they steam clean, sanitize and do everything but get down on their hands and knees with toothbrushes. After that, I believe it was around $150/week. But I think they really do a deep clean each time.

In the end, I think it's important to strike a good balance between quality, price and trustworthiness.
