Two problems with that.

How do we know it is her? We don't even know if Wannamaker knows we are helping her.

And did we corrupt the vote? It is a rather grey area if we played within the rules as well. I have no issue with it personally. We found a hole in the system, that the system accepted. It still required each of us to vote every time however, and on our own dime using our phones.

There is no way possible there is someone or a group of people voting at this methodical, and mechanical rate.

Actually, it's the ambiguity in our actions as well in the corruption of the vote that I wanted to point out. Either way though, if we think it's another group that's got a bot doing this, well, we better get a couple of bots to do it right back.

Dear YOU Innovate Tournament co-ordinators,

I'm part of a Calgary Flames fan forum, Calgarypuck. While we were vote-bombing your servers, we noticed some 'discrepancies' in the voting results. A group of a few hundred of us discovered that if we cycled through airplane mode on our phones, we could effectively vote at approximately 3 times per minute. We dedicated our troops night and day to this effort. We had a nice comfortable lead until shortly before it was announced that the contest would be extended. We then found your runner-up contestant, Dinara Yanbaeva, was climbing in the polls at an alarming rate, rapidly outpacing our most concentrated efforts. Amongst the charts and graphs that were compiled (probably rivalling your own tracking of the competition lol!), and the efforts of one man, a stopwatch, and an ipad, we noticed that the increase in votes were like clockwork. We strongly suspect that our commie spy bird lover has created a script to increase her votes.

We hope that you look into this matter promptly.
