So, was just surfing through my post history from the past few years, and came across this gem from Oct. 1 2008. "Wow the Nucks suck!! Haha, and most of y'all were right. Gio sucks, wish we still had Strahlman". So, now that you have some hindsight, what is the dumbest thing you have ever posted on CP?

About 2.5 months before the trade happened. I was supporting the idea that someone else posted of acquiring him. A classic case of "be careful what you wish for".

I think http://forum.calgarypuck.com/member.php?u=13292 takes the cake for worst post ever. His "Support a Student" thread, the only post he has made on this site to date, backfired completely. Wannamaker is going to win because of CP and hahmichael wins the trophy for stupidest post ever.

Before Leopold got traded (the first time, to Colorado), there was a rumor he was going to go to Buffalo. I jumped all over people that thought Calgary would get a top player back from the Sabres, that Leopold wouldn't even fetch a second liner, etc. etc.

He shortly after went to Colorado for Tanguay. I felt dumb. That was a LONG time ago, haha.

I wouldn't know how to find it, but you had some post involving a co-worker at a pizza place telling you to go talk to some girls who were eating pizza or something. I remember this because even though it was probably years ago, any time I see your user name I think of this stupid, nonsensical story and ignore most of your posts as a result..... I defended the Phaneuf trade. After all, Ian White is better than Phaneuf, and Hagman and Stajan are solid second liners. It gives us amazing depth.

Pretty much all of them. Moreso the 7000 or so from 07-10.

You know how some people are said to lack a filter when they speak? That's like me on CP, except it is a Firefox add-on that filters out the thoughtful and compassionate and replaces with impulsive and offensive.
