I was wondering how pissed off some of these mercenaries are going to be since their checks are probably going to bounce, and they can't count on a letter of reference.

I'm sure most will end up in a mass grave somewhere.

Many of them are dead and the Libyans have been beating and throwing everybody with dark skin into prison without trial or verification as they just assume they are mercs.

I was kinda joking especially with that Letter of Reference thing

Interviewer - "So Mr Smith, we are interested in having you join our team and helping us to defend el jefe. Can you tell us about some of the other body guard missions that you've been involved in"

Mr Smith - "Well I just finished a job where I had to defend Ghadaffi"

Interviewer - "Oh"

Mr Smith - "And before that I was a security advisor for Saddam Hussein"

Inteverviewer - "Right"

Mr Smith - "And before that I was the food tester for Viktor Yushchenko"

Interviewer - "Ok get the f$$k out"

Gaddafi and his family have left Libya in shambles which is just another crime commited against the Libyian people by this family of pigs. The world was rid of a vile mass murderer that victimized his country with 40 years of oppression and tyranny at the hands of pure evil.

I have to commend the bravery of the freedom fighters that rose up against Gaddafi and his army over the past months. This has to be a day of celebration that they thought would never arrive.
Hopefully they themselves do not become drunk with power and continue the madness.

Burn in hell Gaddafi!

From the videos of the celebrations in Tripoli it sounds like some guy named Allen pulled the trigger on Gaddafi, as they're all cheering and praising this guy.

So it seems his convoy tried to escape and was attacked by Nato planes. He and some other officers/guards tried to hide in a drainage pipe.

He was found alive by NTC soldiers who dragged him out and he begged them not to shoot. They dragged him around and then shot him anyway. There's video of him alive and then getting executed.

Ghadaffi's final moments . . . . . . a Ceaucescu-like ending. Good.

Are you saying that he was given a trial, sentenced and dragged out to a court yard to be shot.

I was thinking more along a Mussolini ending without the hanging by the boots.

Good thing this "humanitarian" disaster is over. Libya is in ruins and now western trans-national corporations are rubbing their hand together....kind of like this.

Something tells me that for Libyans, the new boss will be much the same as the old boss.
You know who's gonna be the new boss? Whoever the US and the NATO terrorists order. Why? So they can easily exploit Libya of its oil. Don't kid yourself thinking that this is for "democracy" or whatever lie they came up with.
What's really unfortunate is people of Libya will see this later on. I can tell you all this because Serbia went through similiar changes 11 years ago. Oh yes, we got rid of Milosevic, but the state of the country now is apsolutely the same, maybe even worse, than it was 11 years ago.

Did you know that Libya under Gadaffi payed families $7,000 for every newborn child? Or that every unemployed person received $730 as help? Or that a 1L of fuel costs $0.14? Or that when you buy (or bought, now I guess) a new car the country payed you 50% of its value? Electricity was free. Education was aposlutely free. Health insurance was free. Newlyweds got $64,000 from the government to buy a house. Wow, what a horrible leader Gadaffi was...
I repeat, don't kid yourself into thinking that this war was for "democracy". USA doesn't like anyone who don't do what they want them to do, that's the reason they wanted Gadaffi dead.

You were there Mr Penn, watching the children peacefully flying kites in the park while they went home to their candy drop houses and said jeez what a great guy.

I bet you were waiting breathlessly for an opportunity to post this stuff.

His people were all so fired up and in love with their leader that they rose up to have we love Gadaffi rallies in the streets, oh wait that didn't happen, the people wanted him out of power, and rose up against him with their own version of Arab Spring, and his reponse was to hire mercenaries to snipe his own people, to open fire on his own people, to arrest dissidents that oppossed him in the protests.

I'm sure you forgot that Gadaffi was directly responsible for the "La Belle" night club" bombings in Germany. And that whole Pan Am flight thing was a whole giant misunderstanding where he accidently shipped his bomb collection by air freight.

This was an overthrow caused by his own citizens so obviously things weren't so rosy.

And lets not forget the 10's of thousands of people that were arrested, tortured and killed by his secret police.

But yeah the guy was a prince and should have gotten the Nobel peace prize.

Pretty grizzly set up pictures.

I have no doubt that the new government didn't want the messy entanglements of leaving the Ghadaffi's alive and they had a sudden surge of rifle trigger malfunctions when they were trying to arrest dad and son.

While it would have been nice to see a trial, I didn't really expect there to be one.

At this point they're closing the book on any chance of a figure head for a resistance, and I doubt anyone is eager to join those smucks in a quest for Martyrdom.

Bump....

So, several foreign media reports have documented the Al-Qaeda flags that have been spotted in mulitple locations in Benghazi, including on top of the Benghazi courthouse...where the supposed NTC works from.

LOL! Yeah, ....good thing the people of Libya stood up to their evil tyrant Ghaddafi only to be subject to hardcore Islamic Sharia law.

So yeah meet your new boss Libya, worse than the old boss....of course the new boss will be more willing to do business with western trans-national oil corporations, and that is all that has mattered from the start.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...-Al-Qaeda.html

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worl...ourthouse.html

....regarding the predictible lack of American media reports of this.....the silence is deafening.
