Yup back for good as of July....and thanks for the welcome.

Wife and I split more or less, and i had absolutely no reason to remain stateside particularly with the moribund economy and whatnot....anyone want a REALLY good deal on a condo in the Smoky Mountains?

I knew we'd have plenty of great photogs out to capture the event, so I felt better about sleeping in the one day a week I can (sleeping in still being about 8am with a toddler).

I love in that first picture how something that was all straight and right angles suddenly looks fluid and wavy as it comes down.

Just once I'd love if they did a building explosion. That'd be epic; oh, and preferably in Edmonton

Wasn't that in a Simpsons episode?

I remember a character saying to the demo guy right as he pushes down the plunger "Can't wait for the implosion." to which the guy says "Implosion? I though you said-kaBOOM!"

Live in Victoria Park and the charges going off definitely woke us up this morning.

I'm quite positive I heard it in Beltline this morning - sounded just like thunder. Took me about 20 minutes to realize what that noise was, when I heard a thing on the news about it.

If I had any talent at all, I would superimpose a crying beaver.

I backtraced the charges, they were purchased from a market in the Arachnid quarantine zone...

Damn bugs waxed us.
