Yeah, I just countered with Lloyd + Newton for Mendenhall + Stafford. I think it's pretty fair but we'll see how it goes.

I am seriously considering pulling the trigger - my RBs have been killing me lately, and Lloyd could be in for a resurgence under McDaniels in St. Louis.

Thoughts?
Mendenhall & Holmes have been having rough years so far and Jennings with the Green Bay offense could put up huge points at any time

The more I think about it, the more I don't like starting Josh Freeman in my flex spot this weekend. Something about those London games always end up being sloppy (time change, slippery pitch). Curtis Painter's available in FA and he seems to be coming around lately, and I can see him having a decent day against my team's pathetic D lately.

Do we think Painter > Freeman this week? Or am I just over-thinking it as usual? I'm definitely a Ruxin.

You can pass on the Bears D this year, so I'd go Freeman. I know it doesn't belong here but the better question I have for you Saints fans is do I trust your team to lay 13.5 points down at home against Curtis Painter?

Thanks. As for the Saints D, I don't know how the scoring works for your league (I've noticed in the CP leagues D's rack up waaay more points than they do in mine), but honestly I wouldn't touch the them with a 10 foot pole right now. Painter's been starting to heat up in the fantasy world, I can see him putting up a decent game against the Saints, especially if they get behind. I'd take the under on 13.5, but again, I don't know how your league scores D points.

Haha ahhh...hence why you said "doesn't belong here", its all making sense now...man I hate point spreads, stopped playing em a couple years ago, so many factors it'd just keep me up at night. Prob why my head didn't go there. The way we've been eeking out wins so far this year I'll say no, wow that's a big margin. We seem to do our usual thing where we take a big lead early and then just let them creep back creep back creep back until it comes down to a final Brees drive. So frustrating. I'd say take the Colts at that spread.

Any other time, I'd say the Saints would beat the Colts without Manning by at least 20 points. They'll be jacked to be playing at home for the first time in weeks, and they usually play well in national TV games (especially at home).

The only concern I have is that I'm curious how they'll perform with Coach Payton up in the booth vs. on the sideline. You'd think he'd be able to have a better vantage point up there to dissect the Colts defense, but any deviation from the norm in the NFL can lead to game changing results.

With that said, I'm confident in a big win, with the Saints D scoring some big fantasy points. For gambling purposes, I'd take the over, but I'm certainly no expert...

So one Saints fan says under, the other over, that probably helps clear it up for you hahaha. I hope you're right Moe, after last weekend nothing would make me happier than seeing us pump the Colts on national TV. I'm so frustrated with our D right now I don't even know where to start, hence why I'm not confident in that large a margin. We'll see I guess..

With the Eagles, Patriots, and Giants on byes this week, I'm really scrambling with a couple of my fantasy lineups. My entire bench in a couple leagues is on bye this week. Hopefully everyone's a go at game time.

I can't believe this. I'm going to start Tim Tebow this week, and I actually feel pretty good about it!

14 team league and my back up QB position is being a pain in the ass. I went RB/WR heavy this year deciding to get my QB later. Got Eli Manning as my starter. Originally picked Garrard as my back up. We know what happened with him. So my back up was Grossman... Well yay... he gets benched before I actually need him. So in complete and total desperation I pick up Palmer. Well he's not starting by the looks of it. So being a 14 team league my options are...

Charlie Whitehurst vs Cleveland. Matt Moore vs Denver. Blaine Gabbart vs Baltimore. John Beck vs Carolina. Christian Ponder vs GB.

Out of that list of crap, who would you choose? lol. Matt Moore?

I'd go Beck as well. Carolina is 1-5 largely because their defense can't stop anyone.

I had to start Josh freeman as my qb because of byes this week...he has -1 pts with 2 minutes left in the 1st half.

All these so called fantasy experts caution against starting Arian Foster against the Titans but say Chris Johnson will have a huge breakout game. Yeah take your mulligan morons...Arian with as many points today as Johnson gets in 4 games. I swear do the opposite of what fantasy experts say, and you probably destroy everyone else.

Man I can't just catch a break. Always just getting barely outscored in all of my games. The opposing team just has to have a player(s) in primetime go all beast mode and put me in my place.
