Just watched this commercial on TSN, I must say I love it.

Its on CFL's official channel. The description reads:
Quote:
This is the first of a series of vignettes to be released this Fall that celebrates a truth about the CFL that keeps fans on the edge of their seats - No Lead is Safe. These commercials will be aired throughout the road to the 99th Grey Cup.This commercial profiles a classic game between the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Edmonton Eskimos in 2006. It centres on a 100-yard catch and run by Milt Stegall that won the game on the final play. #NoLeadIsSafe

I turned that game off I was so pissed. An hour later I was browsing a different message board talking about a Bomber victory. Blew my mind.

Kavis Reed is the 2nd coming of Jim Barker. He makes so many dumb calls. I would have laugh so hard if the Argos came back and won that game.

AC has thrown 2 picks in the first 6 minutes in Winnipeg.

Gutsy win for the Bombers. Offense didn't do a great job, as usual, but defense pulled it out for the team.

The clip they need to also show is the Stamps early 2000's win against the Esks at Commenwealth.

Stamps take a 5 point lead with a couple minutes left on the clock. The Esks get a official-aided TD drive, to go up by 1 with a minute to go. EDM go for the two point convert...and the Stamps intercept it and go 111 yards. Stamps get the 2 points for the convert, and instead of down 1, go up 1, and win the game. One of the best Stamps moments I've seen, given the opponent and the outrage how the refs kept throwing flags on that last drive.

For a commercial, its a late amazing comeback, as well as a truly unique Canadian play...in the NFL, now that they've gone back to the 2 point convert, if a similar INT happens, its blown dead, the 2 points are only possible for the TD scoring team.

BC lost to Hamilton tonight. I don't think the Stamps will get the 1st place in the West so I might as well cheer for the Eskimos (arrrrghh!) against the BC Lions next week. At least if the Stamps wins the last two games we will get 11-7 while BC can only get 10-8 if they lose against the Eskimos.

Along with another MTL loss. Wide wide wide open in the CFL, so all the hand wringing about the Stamps not being good enough to beat Team A or Team B in the East, or the West, is moot. Any team can beat any other team in the playoffs on any given day, home or away, this year more than any in the CFL.

I'd show the game in Winnipeg, I think was 2003, Calgary up by 14 with 2 minutes left, Bombers tie it up and win in OT. Was probably the greatest game I've watched, still have the torrent on my computer.

CFL playoffs are going to be good this year, especially without the banjo pickers.

My god. I was at that game with the all Winnipeg in-laws. Stamps dominated that entire game. Were up from start to finish and out playing them badly. I didn't talk a lot of S%&t when they were winning, but probably just enough to really learn a lesson.

To this day, when I'm watching a CFL game, I never talk trash until the clock reads zero in the 4th quarter.

Rod Black reporting that there were only 22,000 at the game in the seats for Riders Lions.

Nice to see this fad is going away. I cant stand the power drinking 20-somethings of the new Rider fan base.

1st is still a possibilty in the West, we need to go 2-0, need BC to beat Edmonton this week and for both BC and Edmonton to lose in the last week of the season.

I don't know, hoping for a Sask win over Edmonton in the final week seems like a longshot. If Edmonton wins over BC, Calgary controls their own destiny as far as getting a home playoff game. And if BC wins and Calgary loses this week, the Stamps have nothing to play for in week 19. So not that as fans we have any control over it, but I'll be rooting for Edmonton this week.
