I like both, but probably prefer Coke.
That said, there is nothing better (cola wise) than pepsi out of a glass bottle.

Yes, but it also contained artificial sweeteners. If you want low calorie coke, buy Coke zero. I am also trying to avoid artificial sweetners on the advice of my doctor. The problem with C2 is because it contains both kinds of sweeteners, it excludes two of the groups who would care about such things.

Pepsi seems to have a nice first sip, which is why they won those taste contests. However you get half way through it and it has a nice sawdust finish.

Pepsi Max. Especially if you can find slightly old bottles - it develops a nice bitter aftertaste. If I see bottles with the old labelling, I grab them.

Huge Coca Cola guy here. I'll take Pepsi when there's nothing else, so I don't hate it, but I definitely prefer Coke. I'll also echo everyone else's sentiments about Vanilla Coke. I had a friend at work go down to Bangor a couple weeks ago and she bought me two or three cases of the stuff.
Just to go in a bit of a tangent, I have no idea how people cannot tell the difference between Coke or Pepsi. It's like the difference between night and day to me, but I'm also a life-long pop drinker.

Cherry Pepsi (in the US) then Throwback Pepsi then Pepsi then any Coke product.
A good Dr pepper beats all tho - or a Pop Shoppe cherry + cola mix
Edit: and if we are talking booze (and who doesn't?) Luxardo Amaretto + Throwback Pepsi is the drink of the Gods.

You have to try Coke Zero then. It's easily the best diet pop. I don't know how a diet drink can taste like that.

Best Coke I've ever had was after 10 days on Mt. Kilimanjaro......I would have paid $100 for that bottle.

I used to like pepsi more than coke when I drank the normal stuff. I love Diet Pepsi now and then Diet Coke. Coke is just pure disgusting to me. I feel like I'm drinking syrup.

It may be the psychological effect of the higher caffeine content, it has twice as much caffeine. It also used to have ginseng, but doesn't look like it does anymore.
EDIT: About twice as much caffeine as Diet Pepsi, about 50% more than Coke Zero.
Diet Pepsi 36mg
Coke Zero 45mg
Pepsi Max 69mg

I drink Coke Zero, but I like diet Pepsi. I'm don't fiercely pick one over the other. I will pick whatever is cheapest that week, usually it's Coke. I don't like the originals for either, because they are too sweet for my liking. The diets are perfect.
