You know, I don't think it does matter, because it's not as though the BQ is going to split down the middle. Assuming it's a Conservative victory, the key number will be whether Con + NDP > LIB + PQ, and CON+PQ>LIB+NDP. If that's the case, the Conservatives can form an alliance with either minor party; it would give them a lot more options.
