I've had the iPhone for a year and I still can't type as well as I did on a BlackBerry.

I have no idea how anyone can type on the BlackBerry keyboards. I have slim fingers and I have trouble pressing specific buttons.

I actually feel the same about the iPhone. I loved my bb keyboard.

Well Mrs. Kermitology, men sometimes can have big man sized fingers.

The virtual keypad took me a while to come around to, and still is, the iPad was a good transition for me.

If you`re sure you`re going to stay with a provider for the length of a contract, go for the contract. You`re getting a discount on a service you intend to pay for anyway. Keep an eye on what`s important. The discount is only $400 or so. The full obligation of a 3-year contract runs into the thousands.

For me, the best reason to sign a contract is to have access to plans I wouldn`t have if I wasn`t on a contract.
