We should start a thread for the most annonymous poster, been here forever and only thing I am slightly known for is (almost) predicting the Hale storm.
 My faves:

I'll throw Aeneas' hat into the ring after watching the game with him last night (eff you moon for no showing). It was fun talking about CP and amusing when he had no idea I had a join date of 2002 but that's ok because everytime I read his user name I pronounce it Anus
I guess i'm like a ninja, in and out without being noticed.

Best to keep it to PM and not derail the thread.

He should also get big props for getting the CP SW softball team going and still running to this day (with it's insane drunken Okotoks stories). Also, for the live drafts at Peanuts pub, this years was a great time. I won't be missing another one. He's a regular CP social butterfly.

Howie16 is another fave of mine. He joined a group of us on a 60 person bus ride (licensed) to Edmonton to watch the Flames play the Oilers. Awesome time but a little hazy.

The entire CP SW softball team (met a bunch of great friends, drank a bunch of great beers and even played a bit of baseball), Calgarypuckers hockey team, anyone from the Heckle, and all the people who I have met selling or buying tickets. All great times with CP members.

Cheers, mate - the three of us (and others like Regulator 75, Table 5) are all local skyscraperpage.com contributors - that's how we know stuff about the city.

Yeah I also have to give props to Aeneas.
I met him and Troutman at a game in LA a few years ago. He grabbed a puck for my son.

I remember misreading a thread title "No cash for Arenas" as "No cash for Aeneas" and thinking that is too bad he seems like a great guy.

Textcritic, MMF, AC, flameswin, Machiavelli, Halifax Drunk for the great GDT's, Pylon for his great rants, 4x4.
Really like reading the arguments with Photon, bizaro86, Hack&lube and a bunch of other guys. All really smart guys and even though you don't agree with some stuff, you definitely learn a lot you didn't know.

Also met a lot of guys through ball hockey that are still memorable, but don't post as often as the other guys but are all great guys. Jbo09, Chalms04, Burningyears, LGA, Jiri, Kevanguy (great goalie), TRIX, TangerZ, rifleman and a bunch of other guys that I didn't know their CP handlenames.

Also not a whole lot of people know Cedarmeter but he's a solid guy who gave those guys who came over from the czech free tickets to a game. I've met him a few times, and he's a real nice guy.

I always enjoy a good Oilers/flames debate with MMF

I thought about firing up CP while at the dome and see if anybody says, "hello". There's a chatty bunch a couple of rows above me in 308 that sound like they're CPers. Of course they may be jerks and just popcorn or mini-donuts at me.

So many awesome people here, CP is easily my favorite internet home to check up on the world, hockey and debate all kinds of stuff from serious to nonsense.
I hate naming names because there's lots of cool people I know I'll forget.

What I find most enjoyable is the level of discourse here, even when things get heated CP has this ability to keep sane whereas in other online forums trolling and locked threads are way too common. Something to be said for that in the anonymous world of the internet where bullies reign supreme, CP bucks that trend like very few can.

 3. Jim Rome (Man I'd love to punch him in the face right in the middle of one of his 5 minute idiot pauses) "The Braves played the Cardinals last night...and something happened that I didn't like"......1 sec......2 sec......3sec......BAM!!!!!
 |
Those moments when he isn't talking are far less annoying than when he is.

Anyway, how can you not fall asleep for 5 minutes when talking about baseball? I think those pauses are for quick power naps for the audience.

Eventually I'll be in a job interview one day and the guy interviewing me will be like, "Okay Malcolm, we see you have over 5,000 posts on Calgarypuck, how much time would you say you spend on there a day?"
 |
I just started a new job and when I got to talking to one of the guys here and we began talking about tickets (he's a STH too) I mentioned CP. He knew CP. I was almost paranoid that he knows who I am and isn't telling.

I know some CPers might recognize me if they saw me because I've posted my pic on here a couple of times but for the most part I've enjoyed only having a very select few people know who I am on this site. It makes venting about work or friends or other stuff really easy.

Aw, what the hell. I love everybody. CC makes me laugh. I aspire to be a combined version of him and ResAlien someday. Only with less explosive diarrhea and accidental incontinence.
