It's actually just a suspension, not a ban.
The Lifetime Suspension was my mistake, when we do suspensions we have to not only give the term, but we have to put them in a special group which gives them the suspension title, and I forgot to do that.

Currently it says in the sin bin, but yah, they do.
Cecil had one (again) but he is back. That Thumper17 guy had one for something really really stupid in another thread but he is back.
The mods do a great job on this forum, and let guys back if they think it is worth it. They are also good at recognizing when someone is sucking up and will hopefully give that user more leeway in the future.
KevanGuy is a cutie too.

I don't know who had the idea of the mods making a shanny style video / post to explain disciplinary actions, but it's a great idea.
Might help keep people more in line if the rules and punishments were actually, you know, explained.

I now I've had it in my mind to go over the rules and flesh them out more, and formalize a system of warnings and infractions where it's a little more detailed..
But time and desire always seem to be off sync.
That and the more you formalize something, the more people complain "person A didn't get caught speeding but I did, so why do I get a ticket". We're a fan forum, not a deserted island drafting a set of laws to establish society.
