ReggieDunlop no longer exists on CP, what's up?

After wondering why I hadn't heard from Dunlop in awhile, I decided to look up his account to see when he last logged in. He literally does not exist on these forums anymore.

Has that ever happened before? Anyone I've ever known to get the boot still has an account, it just says "lifetime suspension". It's especially perplexing given his long term involvment with the community. It's not like he's some a-hole who signed up to spam or something.

I know mods don't discuss bans/timouts etc, but I was wondering if anyone else knows anything, it just seems kind of weird. Somebody's disapeeared him.

Although, I had no idea he had been banned. I thought he kind of had a long leash for being a long time member. Weird.

I was gone for a stretch of about 7 months, when I logged back in and posted I got a lot of Pm's and "where have you been!" and also the same amount of , "he was gone?"

Haha, CP mods are pretty militant about the whole talking about bans and such.

In some ways it's probably for the better. But as a curious person, it can be frustrating when long term members get the boot and the only info you get to know about it is "we don't discuss those decisions with peasants, now go back to your regular peon threads and act as if this never happened".

I think the last "Whatever happened to Snakeeye" post was made about a year after I changed my username. It was nice to be remembered by the three people who noticed. The other 9000 members who didn't suck.

Hoot had to have died. Not to sound cold, but after all the time he spent here, he didn't really have any reason to quit all of a sudden, and it's not like he was a Justanotherguy who would get pissed off about the site and threaten to leave.
