First off, I'm going to predict that no one poisoned the kid. My guess is the kid wanted to steal a cigerette off Jesse, ended up snagging the "Lucky" one, discovering the vile in it and assumed it was drugs. And on his own free will consumed the risin. Which works out, bringing Walt and Jesse back together to take the show to the next level in trying ot take down Gus. I also don't think the series will conclude with Walt as the next King Pin, I'm pretty sure once whatever happens, Walt is finished in the meth business for good.

Second, I do think that the authorities will investigate how the kid came into contact with the risin, which will bring another element in to the story, making it just that much more intense with having so much come crashing down on our heroes and their quest to survive it all.

Last, I am more than confident that a reasonable, sound, logical explaination will be giving to us on why Gus did not get into the car. But you know when he was talking to Jesse that he's become aware of something to suddenly have such a change in heart. I'm excited to find out.

Good point. I think that Brock's mom Andrea is going to be uber pissed at Jesse, that she will rat him out to the DEA. Hank will see the Pinkman link again and investigate him like mad, leading him to Gus and his eventual downfall.

Of course that would be too easy, and this show always seems to throw that curveball.

I think people should hold off their annoyances about the things that didn't quite seem right this episode until we see the next one.

Yep, and for all we know, some of the stuff will get explained next season as well.

I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt to Gilligan and company until I see the finished product.

Okay, so here's what I think:

Gus has both Jesse and Walt's homes bugged. We know that Mike is capable of doing this quite effectively, and given the explosiveness of his business arrangement with both Walt and Jesse, it only makes sense for him to do that. That's how he knew about the ricin. His goal was probably to poison the kid with the ricin, have Jesse realize that it's missing and then blame Walt because Walt is the one that gave it to him and wanted him to use it in the first place. It would also explain why Gus didn't get into the car as presumably, Jesse and Walt hatched that plan while they were at Walt's house the night before. That's really the only thing that makes any sense to me.

I think Walt poisoned the kid to put the emphasis back on killing Gus. He showed before that he has no problem with hurting Jesse to get what he wants (letting his girlfriend die)

I'm just using it to highlight that even though Walt is the protagonist in this story, he is a still a man capable of profitting off the sorrow of others, killing in cold blood and orchestrating the assassination of various other people.

He didn't let Jesse's girlfriend die to get what he wanted. He did it to save Jesse. She was no good for either of them.

I suppose that is is possible that Walt did poison the kid though. The thought crossed my mind and would be a pretty mind blowing twist if Walt went competely bad like that.

Yeah, I wouldn't rule it out, but the conversation where Gus told Jesse that "there will be an appropriate response" leads me to believe Gus was behind it.

I think Walt figured it out and then Gus figured out the guys were on to him. How? I don't know, but Walt told Jesse that Gus is always 10 steps ahead.

You guys try to over-analyze everything on this show. Which I guess is fine for bringing up discussion, but for me I just sit back, watch the show and enjoy. Im sure any questions I would have about the show would get answered in the next episode or 2.

That being said my thoughts on why Gus stopped is I think maybe he knows a way to save the kid and thought about it for a bit and decided that maybe he doesn't deserve to die at all and went back to tell the doctors or whatever to help save the kid. Ya I know its a bit of a stretch, but we all are trying to figure it out.

Also it was obvious that Gus wasn't going to blow up in the car in this episode, so I figured that either the bomb wouldn't go off at all, or the bomb would go off before they reached the car.

Not slighting anyone with this, but attempting to gueess where this show is going is pointless. Did anyone even come close to guessing what happened last night?

After Re watching the episode as much as I don't want to believe Walt was behind Brock getting sick he was. The only thing though that is it was not Ricin that he was poisoned with it was Hyancith.

During the scene where Walt is spinning the Gun on the 3rd attempt the Gun is not pointing at him it is pointed at a Hyancith Plant. Children are extra vulnerable to Hyancith Poisoning which have symptoms including Nausea,V omitting and Diarrhea.

I am not sure how the Jesse lost the Ricin cigarette but it appears as though Huell might have swapped packs during the pat down scene in Saul's office. You can clearly see Huell put something into his left pocket.

If you watch the Inside Breaking Bad:Episode 12 on their webpage http://www.amctv.com/breaking-bad/vi...-412-end-times The actors basically confirm this and Giancarlo Esposito flat out says that Gus figures out that Walt was behind it as he is walking back to his car.
This would definitely explain the irredeemable action that Walt takes at the end of the season that the writers have been hinting about.

Can't wait for next Sunday.

AWESOME!

I really knew that had some meaning, but figured it was a figurative one that I was missing because I don't care too much about botany symbolism in classical literature.

Yeah, don't think any of that is even remotely true. The actors certainly don't hint at what you're saying in the behind the scenes video you posted either. Interesting theory none the less.

They might not hint at the details but Esposito basically admits he was not behind the Poisoning. Why would he describe in detail how Gus realizes that Walt is behind it if Gus actually did it. Unless this is there way of throwing us off track but I don't see it.

I might be way off with the Hyacinth theory butWalt was behind Brock getting sick.

If true, that would be awesome.

There has gotta be something up with the gun pointing at the plant.

The gun pointing at the plant is intriguing, but there just doesn't seem to be much more there. Walt saw Brock for a split second the night before. How does he know who he is? How would he know where to find him? How would he be able to make the poison, find Brock, poison him without being detected by anyone else and also arrange for someone to steal Jesse's ricin cigarette? All within what, a couple of hours? Heck, if Walt could do all that, then I can't imagine that killing Gus would be much of a challenge.

I'll admit, if the writers can tie Walt into poisoning Brock, it would be cool, but there has to be more sense to it than that.
