You're not going to honestly play the ref card in a 26 point game, are you?

Brandon Browner is not an NFL-quality DB.

In what way?
I just didn't agree with either call. Clearly, I wasn't indicating that they were going to affect the outcome.
I would think you'd know me better than that after all these years.

I'm actually pretty impressed with what the Broncos have done the first four weeks of the season. For a team with very little depth and some significant players missing games, they've surpassed my expectations. Had Orton been a little less Ortony they might have been in a more favorable position going into this game.
Green Bay's passing game is incredible and they are clearly the best team in the NFL.
I think Denver has a shot to beat San Diego next week.

The Dolphins are so bad. No QB, No RB, No WR, No TE, average OL, poor DL, average LBs, poor secondary, good k, no head coach, no gm.
Gotta start thinking about how long TS will keep his job.

Great SEA comeback and superb second half from Tavaris Jackson, falls short...as the 61 yard FG is short. 30-28 ATL.

Yup....losing Nick Collins for the year may end up being the undoing of a team that is solid if not great everywhere else. Morgan Burnett is a 2nd year guy who may be great one day but is still learning the NFL game while Collins replacement in Charlie Peprah simply isnt a NFL starter with hi lack of speed.
Thompson has to find someone to compete for that position or teams like Detroit/Atlanta/New Orleans will simply pick apart the secondary in the playoffs.
Oh...and stat of the day...

I don't know. That Packer offense is so dynamic they may be able to simply outscore everyone. None of those teams has a particularly great defense either.
You could really tell Champ Bailey was missing in this game. I don't think it would've been a 26 point loss if he had played. Still, you can see the Denver defense has made huge strides from last year.
Orton...just baffling that he could play so well last season and now looks like the same player from the season before.

I like that. Rex Ryan calls a time out just to yell at the ref.
He should call another one!

a few years back you would see dominating defenses, you dont really see that much now. the offenses are so good these days and with the rules favoring the offense, all teams are gonna give up big yards, you just need to force the turnovers. much like Detroit today, they gave up a ton of yards but won the turnover battle

It amazes how Cam Cameron still has a job, you are up 20 points and start throwing the bloody pigksin. These game should not be these close it should be a blowout. Its like he gave Rex some head before the game or something.

This game is nuts. If I'm the Ravens I start taking knees and let my defense keep scoring on turn overs.

starting to think Flacco is a bit like Romo, get a big lead and then watch him fall apart. he is lucky his defense bailed him out yet again. also love to see sanchez fail, tired of hearing how he has won 4 playoff games in his first 2 years. he is also carried by his defense

Have you been drinking all day? Denver is ######edly terrible. Orton is the worst starting QB in the league, Denver is going to get bent over federal prison lifetime sentence man raped.
The defence is SLIGHTLY better than last year but really it's just Miller making plays. They are still getting destroyed on the run and the pass D, well, if Bailey comes back maybe they get one pick.
Edit: I might be slightly bitter right now.

Keep in mind that the Chargers 3 wins are at home against teams who have combined to win 1 game this season that being KC who beat Minnesota. They should have been able to beat KC by at least 30 last week, and ended up needing a late interception and a short missed field goal by Succop to avoid OT.
Chargers should win, but they don't look like a team who can lay down a beating on anyone. I actually think the Raiders despite their loss yesterday are feeling better and better about their chances to win the AFC West.

Possibly...but i think the Chargers D is a whole lot better than they have been in the past while the O has had some issues getting going. I think losing Sproles changed the whole dynamic of that club and they havent quite adjusted yet. When you have a QB like Rivers though its only a matter of time til they find their stride and combine that with the way the D has been playing they should take the division once again.
I must admit though that the raider running game is special....just dont think Campbell and that D are good enough to be the best however.

thats bang on, the Chargers are not a team that inspires a lot of confidence. When they play elite teams, they always beat themselves. the broncos are far from elite and should get beat handily but i wouldnt bet on it. I would like to see the Chargers with a coach that exudes fire and intensity at times as they dont play with the intensity they need to be a super bowl team.
