I've had this wallet for about two years: http://www.canadaleathers.com/styles/228.html

The leather evolves as it wears, but it is still in great shape. As I take a close look at it, I might put some leather oil on the corners that are a little bit worn. I expect it will last me a long time, as it was well made.

I used to replace my wallets as they started to break down every 2-3 years.

Way too many cards.
All I carry is debit, MC and drivers licence. I leave my Costco card in the car and things like the Health card aren't required, I just key the nunber into my phone if I need it. It is liberating to purge cards from your wallet.

I just picked up a new black leather one when I was in AZ last winter. I typically replace mine every 2-3 years.

LOL at people who don't carry vehicle registration and insurance cards in their card holders.

11. Hoping to cut that down to 9 in the near future.

I had one of these as well. I saw one on ebay awhile back, but they wanted $40. Man I loved that wallet.

Easily holds 5 cards, and 3-4 bills.

for pepole who can't stand bulky wallets, I've been using one of these since my previous wallet started consistently destroying cards:

The wallet itself is extremely thin. The fewer cards you put into it the thinner it gets. Durable too, from what I can tell from the few months of use.

You mean you'd pay for something with a bunch of silly logos plastered all over it? It's Horse Front leather which means it's excellent leather, and it's handwoven. Great craftsmanship, and great materials means I'll have this little sucker looking good for the next 20-30 years, avoiding spending silly amounts of money on a Coach wallet.

I think I bought my wallet in Italy 9 years ago, off the street, for $2 CND (the exchange rate at the time)... I'm still using it. Its just a wallet, who cares.

Though burn_the_city has me thining, I want to change to one of those kids velcro ones. That would be effing awesome.
