Bought one at Winner's a year and a half ago for $5. It's on its last legs now and I'm looking for a more professional/simple looking, any suggestions?

Only wallet I have ever owned. Got it for Christmas probably 12 years or so ago. A little beat up after all these years. Honestly just haven't thought about replacing it, but I probably should soon.

A specific thank you to Kybosh for correctly spelling "Costanza." How many cards do you guys carry? I find if you go through your wallet you can eliminate a lot of garbage. Who really needs an HBC rewards card in their wallet?

The longest I've had the same wallet is about one day.

I never use one. Can't stand them. Can't function with one.

People stopped trying to give me one as gifts about a decade ago.

I recently upgraded to a Nixon wallet that only has room for 3 cards and an ID. I carry my debit, credit, and work credit cards plus my ID and I haven't found the need to have anything else with me.

I have my Air Miles and Costco (and a couple others) cards in my car at all times. Air Miles is mostly just for buying gas so it's easy to grab when I'm paying at the pump. I have my Air Miles and Safeway Club Card numbers typed into my phone in case I forget to bring the actual card in.

My old wallet wasn't quite Constanza worthy but I had most of my plastic cards in it. I find it way better with the thin wallet now.

You can get a nice simple leather Swiss Gear wallet for pretty cheap at the Bay. Like so:

I really don't know. It is definitely more than 5 years old, maybe up to 10 years old. I stopped using it because either I thought it was old or somebody bought me a new wallet. I used the new wallet for a year or two but I hated it. Found my old (and once again current) wallet and decided that nothing was wrong with it so I switched back to it. It looks well used, but isn't falling apart. I'm definitely going to keep it as long as I can.

Mine is about 10 years old now and still going strong.

I bought it on a High School trip to Europe, we were in Florence and I wanted it but buddy wanted way too much for it. Whilst haggling I realized that I was late as hell for our tour of the Uffizi gallery and that my teacher was going to kill me so I put it back because I knew I had to go, and ran for it.

Buddy chased after me across the piazza and gave it to me for what I was willing to pay for it. Sweet deal. Hand stitched lamb skin wallet and its doing me fine to this day.

I have the exact same wallet that flamesrule14 posted. It is well over 20 years old. I stopped using it at some point in high school after a few years of use. My son expressed a desire to have a wallet, so I gave it to him.

I had the same wallet from 1995-2007 but I got mugged in Belgium. Now I've had the same one since 2007.

I can't believe some people have wallets for so long.. I replace mine once a year at the most! Imagine all the swass that's absorbed into your wallets. Disgusting

Yeah, I have an older version of the Cypress. If you get on their email list they send out a notice when a new batch is coming.

That would be nice, but I have way more than 6 cards.

  1. Debit card
  2. Mastercard
  3. Visa
  4. Driver's
  5. Company Benefits Card
  6. SIN (don't necessarily need this one)
  7. Sobey's card
  8. Costco Card
  9. AMA card
  10. Company discount card
  11. Alberta Health Care

^ Your wallet seems similar to mine. I'm always trying to limit the number of cards I carry, but it is pretty tough. Leaving some cards in the car is perhaps an option, but I have two cars and drive each at different times and for different reasons.

Places like MEC, Safeway, etc. let you use your phone number, but I haven't found a way to keep Air Miles, Costco, Sobeys, and other membership cards out of my wallet. AMA is a must, obviously.
