Entry fee is $10. Then the rest of the show you play for free.
I have already told my cousin, sister, and friends about it. They all plan to go, and we are PUMPED!
I used to play Wizard of Wor in the early 80's in an arcade/pool hall in Chinatown. It's the building that is on the NW side of Center Street and 3rd Ave. I also remember that was the ONLY Wizard of Wor machine in Calgary, and I went to a lot of arcades when I was a kid. I wonder if the one coming to the show is the same machine.

I will be there. My pinball skillz are rusty since I only get to play when I'm in Vegas now, but I'm still pretty good at cursing gravity and bad luck.

This thing seems to be gaining some buzz as the day draws closer. On their facebook page it mentions one of the people running it will be on CBC radio tommorow morning promoting it.
I really hope this is a hit, it's such a good idea, and can't wait to see how it is
Ya Jay is going to be on the radio tomorrow. This is the first year we are doing this but we are really hoping we can do it every year and it will get bigger each year. The whole point of it is to grow the pinball/arcade community in Calgary.
If you guys come please send me some feedback on the event so we know what we can improve for next year.
Just came back from putting up a few more posters for the show, hit Kensington, 17th Ave and 14th St. two different times. Hopefully that will help. Jay told me he's starting to think that turnout will be good.
