I think mine is close to 10 years old, never really thought about it until I saw this thread.

It started leaving a black gunk over all my cards. A shame, I'd had two other wallets in that time and both lasted less than a year.

Mine was wrecking my cards too. The magnetic strip on most of my cards are ruined. Got mine when I was 16 and it lasted me through all my drinking/partying years. I'm surprised I never lost it.

Ha I'd be sporting that thing with pride. I think it would empower me.

I replaced one a couple of years ago that was at least 15. I held on as long as I could, but it fell apart and forced my decision.
The toughest part for me is that I am a front pocket wallet sort of guy, so I prefer a narrower, rectangular variety as opposed to something more square and/or fat. A section for change is prohibited. It took me probably a year of casual searching to find the right replacement.

Got a leather wallet as a birthday present from my aunt probably 12 years ago. Still use it today. My girlfriend is on me at least once a month to replace it but she can't tell me what to do!

I don't even remember. I do remember I bought it at Wal-Mart a long time ago. I'll say 5 to 8 years old.

Mine is about eight years old. It's been replaced four times; twice I've bought a new one for myself and the other two were gifts. I've gone back to it each time. It's worn in just right, fits my bum perfectly and the leather isn't worn TOO bad. The new ones just felt weird. It'll have to be pried from my cold dead arse.

My wallet is probably close to 15 years old and still going strong. I see no reason to replace it any time soon. My clock radio is close to 25 years old and aside from a slightly wonky volume dial it works fine.

Have you guys noticed that the older and more affluent a guy gets, the crappier his wallet becomes?
As an example:
20-25 year old - kinda poor, paying of student debts
25-45 - Family man Costanza wallet
45-55 - Dignified gentlemen.
55-beyond - The richest men in the world

Shoot must be around 12-13 years old now? I remember having this wallet in highschool for sure and it's still got a hole in it from when I wore it with a wallet chain, as was the style at the time.
