How do I know you won't steal my picks? Other than that, this a good idea, if the other can't be arranged.

I'll tell you this: last year I drafted my own team and Slava's and Vlad's and both those basterds finished higher than I did.

Aw, I expect to beat both of those stiffs.
Unless an electronic connection can be arranged, I'll take Slava up on his offer. But I'll audit the picks and if his picks are the top guy on my list, I'll be pissed.
Slava, can I mail you a cheque and I'll email my list prior to the draft? Who is the cheque made out to (it may be in this thread already)?

Looks like many can be there for 1700 or soon after. We will put the names in a hat shortly after 1700. Draft can start if those people are there.
Post if you are running late so we know to wait for you. You can also get my cell number if late, I can let you know your draft position. Can draft that way if nec.
If we dont hear from you, and your number comes up, and it's 1730 or later; we will just bump you to the bottom.
Hopefully we'll have the big screen operating, will bring the big board as a backup.
Money up front please. Payout will be on playoff pool day, or make other arrangments. WindomURL won the playoff pool.

Just curious - why was 1700 chosen? Is there a game on TV? I can leave early on a Friday, but some people have to work until 500, and then have to drive in rush hour traffic to get to Pete's. Hoping for the best turn-out.

1700 was suggested in post 41, thanked by 2, and then agreed to by many.
FKA said he and wife might be late. No other dissenters.
As posted just above, if you are late let us know.
Don't need to start right at 1700, but soon after would be good.
Some people are going away for the weekend. Starting at 1900 or later means finishing possibly at midnight.
If you arrive late and see that Vlad got first pick, and I got 2 nd... well then that might be an issue!
