Default Recommend me a dentist...

Im in need of a new dentist. Any recommendations for a dentist in downtown Calgary that is accepting new patients?
Id prefer recommendations from people who have had work done rather than just cleanings.

I've been going to Dr. Margot Black for a couple years now and I'm really satisfied with the work of her staff. They are very honest in their assessments and tell me when things are potentially not needed which I appreciated. She's located in the plus +15 kitty corner to the Shell building.

Here's the online reviews for her:

Dr Vrbancic (don't let the name throw you off. He speaks fluent and clear English) in Eau Claire Market.

I've been going to him for 20 years as has my family and he's an excellent dentist. Very gentle but yet very through in his work. He's a perfectionist so if you have any work done, cosmetic or otherwise, he will ensure that it looks its best. If he doesn't like something, we will redo it at his cost to make sure that it looks perfect. His hygienists are also very knowledgeable and gentle as well. I have had a number of "advanced" procedures done relating to braces and crooked teeth and never been in an excess of pain during or after the procedure. His demeanor also is calming as the guy just doesn't get uptight about anything. I have no complaints about him.

Dr Shep Secter in mission. I am a current patient and have been for over 15 years little pricy but definately worth it.

I will second this. I am terrified of dentists and he has put me at ease. He is calm and helped me through procedures from basic cleaning to minor restoration work. He doesn't try and talk you in to anything, such as pulling wisdom teeth if they don't need to be pulled.

I did a co-op at Ernst & Young and most of the staff there went over as well. I highly recommend him.

This is a touch out of the downtown core, but I see Dr. Larry Stanleigh who practices at 18th Ave and 4th St SW. He's great.

Dr Rob Hunt, In Mayfair place on the corner of Elbow and Glenmore.

Great dentist, great hygienists and a tabletop Ms Pacman machine in the waiting room. (it's free!)
