I guess it's better than sticking to one answer and being too stubborn to change it, amirite? Preticable answer!

Most recent info from NASA, which seems to contradict your graphic from yesterday: Linky

As of 7 p.m. EDT on Sept. 23, 2011, the orbit of UARS was 90 miles by 95 miles (145 km by 150 km). Re-entry is expected between 11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, and 3 a.m., Sept. 24, Eastern Daylight Time (3 a.m. to 7 a.m. GMT). During that time period, the satellite will be passing over Canada, Africa and Australia, as well as vast areas of the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian oceans. The risk to public safety is very remote.

They just updated the forecast again, should happen between 9:45 and 10:45 tonight. Just enough time to make some popcorn and set up the lawn chairs.

So I just saw very fast moving major blue streak east of Okotoks at 9:15. It wasn't like any type of shooting star I've ever seen.

Sorry, router problems. Nothing official official but if it's still up, it should pass to the north of us in 6 minutes.

NASA NASA
We're still waiting for #UARS Done! confirmation. If debris fell on land (and that's still a BIG if), Canada is most likely area.
