The Rock, Con Air, Leaving Las Vegas, Wild at Heart, City of Angels, Matchstick Men
As bad as some of his movies are (Next and Knowing for example) I have to agree and add Lord of War to that list of things I liked him in.
Another bad actor, who has done some really good stuff (see The departed), and I am scared to even say this because he might jump out of my closet and break my jaw - Mark Wahlberg.
"The Happening" just ruined his entire career for me, with every line of his in that high pitch voice with those squnity eyes.. That might be more to do with a certain writer/director, but he needs to make up big time for that movie.
Like the scene where you can see one of the sound crew in the background wearing jeans.
Or the gas powered chariot:
Well, of course the chariot has a gas canister - if the ancient Romans didn't have access to gas power, how do you think they fueled the giant head-chopping machine from Caligula?
Lindsey Lohan is the worst, and Tom Cruise drives me insane. He's the same in every film. Matthew Fox is pretty awful too, and Julia Roberts seems to always play herself.
Actors I love: Kyle Chandler, Kathy Bates, Ed Norton, Jon Hamm, Holly Hunter, Robert Downey Jr., John Slattery, Sean Penn, Jack Nicholson, Morgan Freeman
Worst Male Actor today: Shia Labeouf...He can't be taken seriously. He must stick to comedy roles for me to even watch a little bit of a movie he is in.
I love early Adam Sandler (Billy Maddison, Happy Gilmore etc.) and I thought that Johnny Depp was really good in the first 2 pirates movies. If you guys are complaining about people playing the same role in every movie, why are you leaving Morgan Freeman out? These days he's always the wise old man/narrator who helps the protagonist out. I really dislike the twilight "actors" and Kristen Schaal
Some obviously good names in the discussion, like the Twilight cast, which is simply ridiculously awful, and some that I disagree with.
I always feel like defending Kirsten Dunst. Not the greatest actress, perhaps, but she knows how to be in front of a camera. She knows what she's doing.
Even though she's not as bad as many of the terrible, terrible actors and actresses gracing our silver screens today, Natalie Portman is the one I dislike. So overrated it's not even funny. Once she grew up, she become totally self-conscious.
I guess Birdemic: Shock and Terror! doesn't really count. I should say that the Rifftrax for that makes it enjoyable, like it makes Twilight and Transformers almost watchable. Birdemic is a film that is made by someone with a brain of a 9-year-old - it's fascinating. If you're a fan of shots of cars slowly parking, this is the film for you.
Im surprised we go this far without some colin farrell hating, or is just that far removed from people's thoughts? also i hate spike lee as an actor, as a director; sure, as an actor; nooooo

I give Farrell a pass because "In Bruges" was great.
