According to their web site, 733 MacLeod Trail SE.

Near the CBE and Bow Valley College? I dunno, seems like a weird area to me... but that's what their site says when you search.

Sure hope thats wrong, since that is essentially a waste of a franchise.

Stick it in the Bow/West and you'd be laughing all the way to the bank, stick it further east than the Telus building and its a write off

^ That end of downtown really lacks food choices. They'll have way less competition that more central in downtown. How many will be working in the Bow less than 2 blocks away? How many work at the Municipal Building? Lots.

I can't stand Fatburger. The time I went there I was at the cash register next to my buddy and when the guy yelled out his order - he yelled 'BIG TIP' and the crew all says "Thank you." Well of course my order goes out next - with a resounding silence after the order and everyone looks at me like I'm the Elephant Man. I had no idea it was a tipping type place - I thought it was like Harvey's or Wendy's or something because of the ordering style. So yah - Fatburger can get bent.

That has to be a typo (on their site). 733 MacLeod Trail SE would put it on the east side of Olympic Plaza, directly across from old City Hall. There is no retail space between 7th Ave and 8th Ave there. Unless they got approval to put in a temporary food kiosk.

Thats like Booster Juice, I get funny looks when I don't tip. I mean your not going beyond your job to make me my shake, thats your job why should I be tipping.

Five Guys burgers would be a lot better if they used better buns. The buns they have now are no better than your average buns you get at the grocery store and get soggy pretty easily.

IMO Five Guys Burgers is way better, too. Great service, fair prices, great food.

I went to Fat Burger when it opened in CGY and maybe it was growing pains, but my burger was dry and tasted like crap.

You know, I wonder if that supposed downtown location is actually a typo on their website.

There is a sign for a new Five Guys at the same location as the new Future Shop just south of Chinook Centre. The address of the Future Shop is 7337 Macleod Trail. I'm thinking that 733 Macleod Trail location for Five Guys could be missing a final digit.

Yeesh, is putting 2 locations within 5 minutes of each other the best way to break into a new market?

Well that's stupid. I was hoping for one downtown (walking distance from my place across the river--well sort of). The calorie burn would justify the caloric intake

One's off Deerfoot, the other is off Macleod. Two of the city's busiest roads.

This also simply shows the superiority of the south as compared to the north.

Wow, now if there is a better example of a parking lot to avoid at all times, I'm all ears...
