CPHL roster players for average prospects? A steal.

I really had no use for Brule or Chipchura..it doesnt look like either player has much potential anymore for the NHL. I threw them in after the original offer I got.

I was basically viewing it as Arnott for the prospect/picks.

Tynan lead Notre Dame in scoring this past year.
Coleman was the USHL player of the year this past year.
Katic put up solid numbers in the AHL, this past year and played 11 NHL games.
Ruopp was a third round pick this past draft.
Erikkson is a solid young goalie currently playing in the SEL.

+ Two third round picks and a 4th round pick.

6 3rds and a goalie that was the Flyers top prospect (and wasn't signed due to them getting Bryzgalov) is a good return for a mid 60's ov 1 year rental type. Brule and Chipchura were both thrown in just to accommodate the rosters.

Yep, I think this deal has the potential to work out well for both sides.

These guys won't help you win cphl games any time soon. Probably no real help there for 5+ years.

All it has is potential, you will be lucky if one of them works out.

There's also the 8.5M, that could be the biggest asset sent in the trade

The league has rejected this deal. We feel that one of the common mistakes new GMs make is taking quantity over quality. Though there is a lot of stuff coming there way - none of it is really of a significant value asset-wise. We would encourage new GMs to look for deals where they get less, but higher quality stuff.

So do you wanna make an offer? (or anyone else)

Because OP has been the only one ive been getting offers on for Arnott.

Just wondering because if a trade gets denied there should hopefully be other trades offers coming in, which I have not seen since I started shopping him on August 30th.

The issue is that you have come into the league at a time when the top teams have pretty much set their rosters and are running out of cheese space.

Then you have a bunch of teams that are considering this year a rebuild year and do not want to bring in a high priced vet for youth.

That leaves very few options for him. Wait until a few weeks into the season and the options will increase

Ah ok fair enough.

Yea, I was taking to Grant a bit about that.

I was hoping my post would generate some offers, haha.

We shall see.

Thanks!
